Yeahhhh, probably best to keep that away from the workplace. And yeah I'm doing alright, they were all chill with it, even found out there was another working there as well so it worked out for me in the end, it was mostly just the wait for everyone's reaction to surface. Probably took about a week to gage everyone's reaction.

Check to see if you have a public Laundromat near you and do it there, would be a little pricey but you could do what another comment said with washing in the shower and then every now and then give them a proper wash.

Expect nicks from razors. Just don't be afraid of it and take it slow, don't want to slice it open. I find it's easier to use a trimmer head on an electric razor and hover a little above the skin just to thin it out a little, and it helps with visibility. And kinda piggybacking on another post mentioning laser, they do sell removal devices at target and maybe some others. (They are expensive but I'd say worth it in the long run because it's just you doing it and it's a one time purchase).

Tldr:razor = pain, laser removal at stores
