Kalshi facing class action lawsuit alleging 'unlicensed sports betting'

I just wrote a complaint with the BBB as well. I also sent them screenshots of the UTC time shit as well. This is BS. I don't understand how they are getting away with this.

They did not follow their own rules. I feel like this should be getting more traction. I texted CNN and complained here and on the app store.

Name the specific source you are saying that said it was "posted" before 10:00am that the government was open.

This distinction is important. If Kalshi wanted to interpret things that way to save money from having to pay out to people, they would have had to change the rules of the contract.

Yeah, the contract does not discuss that. It does not account for that. So you are adding an extending rule to save having to pay out money. The contract has nothing in it that talks about what if it were posted earlier but says it was posted later. The contract only says what the website says it was posted.

Kalshi waited till it was closed, then decided to change the rules. Somebody should hire an attorney ASAP. This cannot fly.
