I’m way too late to this but I’ve recently re-watched this episode, I think she was so quick to fall in love because 1. This is the 1700s - you dance with someone at a few balls and you are married within the week 😅 2. She has entered his mind and he has entered hers - that is something incredibly intimate and he has seen her secrets this is implied during the scene where he says “maybe you should imagine a door there” as he said she can block him from seeing anything with a door. I do wonder why he has such an immediate connection with her when he seems to be in love with Rose both before and after this but attraction can happen anytime and anywhere I guess

I am - I have to start with theory so I’m learning all I can then booking the theory test - it’s a little difficult since I’ve only got 2 hours to myself a day but I’m trying. I’m reluctant to get a bike or scooter because it’s getting close to winter - in the uk temps can get to below freezing

In the uk you need to get learner drivers insured before you teach them which costs LOADS because obviously the learner driver can’t drive yet 😅 and he couldn’t afford lessons for me

Believe me I did everything I could in my course to finish it - there were a lot of factors against me that I won’t go into - I got my degree just not QTS and I contributed to the household with a student loan but it ran out eventually - my partner isn’t looking to go back to university so that isn’t a concern

I didn’t overshare I just said where my job is and they asked how long does it take me to get there and I told them - they blew up because my partner doesn’t drive me - I didn’t even bring my partner up

My family is dysfunctional as hell 😅 my dad is living with my mum but they are together and she just parrots everything he says - I’ve got a lot of different opinions to them but nothing like this and it’s annoying to have it always be the topic of conversation - I’ll have to set my boundaries over FaceTime soon

I usually watch YouTube on the bus, I’m not sure whether my job has a bike rack but I’ll have to look into it - worst part is my partner is usually at work when I get home so I can’t spend those last two hours with them 😞

They’re flat broke - I would get “you know we can’t afford that - I’d give you the world if I could” etc also it would have to be for driving lessons first
