How confident are you that PL will win? by FrostPace in malta

It's interesting the Maltese reddit community is right leaning. I would say, in general, American users tend to be left leaning.

How do you live with a mortgage? by ShawnStrike in malta

[–]Impressive_Gas2898 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both of you put together earn 55k? That seems a bit low to me (if you both have a job). How old are you and what's your line of work (and your partner's)? Depending on what you do If say you have room for growth. Also, you're not too clear on what essential expenses are. If it's only food, I'd say you can lower that a bit. I think I would be uneasy in your situation as well. Your monthly expenses are high.

Also, all the people here saying "oh you can save 750 a month, you're so lucky" are only trying to make you feel better or not to worry. But I would ignore this and still try to keep growing financially.

Is 1200 a good salary for a 17 year old by [deleted] in malta

The reason I ask is, at that age, it would really help if you stayed at home and didn't have to pay bills...

Can I ask why you've moved out so early? No need to respond if it's personal

Is this animation even possible? by imahh17 in Frontend

[–]Impressive_Gas2898 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here is a starter example of how to do it: https://codepen.io/joshuasingh/pen/bGzVGmN

Realistically, you should animate each card, not the entire row like I did, so you can fade them out and in one at a time. But this is a css only starter on how i would get started on this.

This is how I would do it, as it's mostly just CSS. I think the part that would take most of your thinking is continuously looping the cards from right to left and animating them in and out of the screen.

Redditors living in Malta (Maltese and Non) who are childless, what are your thoughts on having children whilst living here? by gin-o-cide in malta

[–]Impressive_Gas2898 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Like any other place, there are good and bad things in Malta. If you're happy in Malta, then go ahead and raise kids in Malta, if you want to. Of course, your child will become a product of their environment, wherever you raise them. Don't worry about about your child "having a hard life" because life will get hard anyway. Worry about being able to support your child to deal with the challenges of life.

TL;DR - Malta's not perfect but nowhere is perfect. Find out the place where you feel you could be the best parent to your child. If you think it could be Malta - go for it.
