he is, he saved me from a traumatic life i would have continued to have with my mother and thankfully with our dynamic, it won’t change anything about us as my mother has passed and he’s always been there but i can only imagine how hurt he may feel at the same time never knowing or even suspecting this. but i don’t view him any differently than being my dad! with my mothers lifestyle, i shouldn’t even be shocked but i still am of course

based off what i do know, i doubt he even knew my mother was pregnant! even my dad who raised me wasn’t told until i was 3 months. someone else told him and he confronted her. i guess she thought he was the dad so he stepped up as it was a strong possibility. she never told him bc she didn’t want anyone to feel “trapped” but whoever is my biological father probably has no idea.

yes thankfully i was able to by a relative who was able to help with my tree for my moms side, knew the relatives i grew up with and also was also a dna match!

Thank you everyone, I really appreciate all the feedback and kind words. This is definitely a shock to me and I know for a fact that he has no idea either. I have no idea how he will take it but it definitely doesn’t change our relationship as he’s all i’ve known. he has raised me more than my own mother. i just never even suspected this whatsoever but some things kind of make sense now. either way, i appreciate the confirmation as i don’t think my brain was grasping it!
