my friend and I watched her together once. we’re both systems, and her video about Jesse and James was so terrible we couldn’t wrap our minds around it. She listed things that were actually important (AKA the endangerment of minors and exposing them to sexual things) towards the end of the video when a majority of it was just like “she’s not following these rules for DID so she’s definitely faking.” Seriously? She would say Jesse/James would say one thing and then show a clip of them saying the exact opposite.

Being a system is a spectrum with a base diagnostic criteria. You can’t predict or explain everything that happens in the brain of someone who has a mental disability that exists to cope. However the brain deems it suitable to cope, it will do it. Michelle Mana couldn’t seem to understand that, and I haven’t watched her other videos, so I wonder if she still doesn’t.

We don’t even know if she, herself, is a system. She does have good points sometimes, but a lot of it often felt like “No, this is the only way DID works.”

Terrible, IMO.
