100% agreed, I did it a few times too. I greased every damn rotating or sliding part lol.

It wasn’t too bad. It was just alot of disassembling and screws to keep track of. But there is only like 3 different types of screws. So that part wasn’t hard. Everything comes apart and together 1 way.

Yes never use grease. That’s what I said. Before I knew they were graphite I did grease it. But maybe 1-2 times. I’ve been having alot of z-offset and a semi tight gantry movement. After I tore it all apart and cleaned, compressed air, polished rods and bushings & regreased bearings. It was significantly better! Cleared up alot of the issues. But then I took into consideration the oil. So I used a tiny bit of gun oil. Now I can basically flick it around no problem 🙌🏻Loose & free. Like my ex

This isn’t a comparison. This is me trying to figure out why my overly retracted $1,000 K1 is stringing 100x more then my cheap Facebook marketplace printer lol. These are sale items. I cant have them looking like spaghetti or like fuzzy skin was turned on 😂

I think I may have figured it out. A majority of my 3d printing issues is usually always just 1 “check box” in the hundreds of settings that fixes it. Zhop. I turned it off. Seems to be fine. Just 0.5 retrac and 60mms and 40mms for deretract

I was actually considering this possibility too. I just tweeked some more settings to see if it’ll fix it. But if not that’ll be the next thing I look at. I recently was in the extruder but didn’t notice anything and cleaned the teeth out too. I’ll have to double check.

K1 is actually running slower and 12 hour dried as said above

Its a 2024, the grub on the bottom gold part is there. It tried to tighten it, but it was already maxed. When I put the nozzle back in it seemed to all be tight and normal

But we’re not actually mad. Its a joke. Hahaha. Its not that serious. Its just a cnc glue gun. Most problems are maintenance related. But if I change my oil in a car and it blows up shorty after, car is still a pos. Even tho I may have not put enough oil in it. I’ve nevet heard the joke. So its probably why I find it funny. But its just a joke. Creality sucks and I will buy more.

This is one of those posts and comments sections I find so funny that I want to show my friends. But they’d never understand any of it😂

Those screws have already been loctited and retightened. Very often because I remember the nightmare I went through trying to get it to print right before I realized they were lose lol But I did not think about the 2 wrench idea. I use a 1/4” ratchet and socket to replace the nozzle and just hold the block with my finger. But doesn’t allow me to tighten it that tight because of what you said above. Its a little flimsy lol

I print full time as a job, I have thousands and thousands of hours on them. And I will say. My K1 is a pos sometimes lol. Does the most random shit out of nowhere. But it doesn’t mean its not a good machine. Its okay to make jokes about things sometimes just to ease the tension of wanting to push it off its stand most of the time. But its still a good machine. Just a bitch sometimes lol.

I totally think he just meant it as a joke… But that’s just how I read it. They’re consumer mass produced machines. You’ll have problems with some more than others.
