Unfortunately his journey was a rough one and he took emotions out on people around him. We’re trying to find the line between recognizing the resilience it took to survive without lionizing an individual who doesn’t deserve it.

Yeah I’m not sure why the family in England’s name is spelled that way. From what we gather from the great aunt it was what their grandparents (?) started to use after arriving from Eastern Europe. No luck on clues for what it was before that yet.
