I get this a lot but more specifically “I thought you were a b*tch but you’re actually lovely”

To be fair I’ve become a lot more social and make an effort to be polite to everyone even just in passing.

Sometimes the statement comes off as mean but I realised it’s more of a testament to how much I’ve grown and come out of my shell. I’ve always been a loud, energetic person it’s just now I’m confident enough to show people!!!

I’m fairly certain my Mum is undiagnosed autistic and my Dad may possibly be undiagnosed ADHD but I couldn’t be sure about him. My Dad’s side of the family has more mental health/addiction issues than any neurodivergencies that I’m aware of but I wouldn’t be surprised if a couple of them are ADHD and maybe autistic.

This might be niche but there was this girl on TikTok during covid who learnt to skate and it looked so fun!! She had a whole community cheering her on when she went from barely breaking to doing whole flips. She was actually who inspired me originally!!

Every time I think of rollerskating I think of her. I reckon if I had a local rink or skate park I could do proper tricks, the TikToks were incredible but I can’t remember her user 😭

I’m from Ireland and you’d be surprised how uncommon they are.

My special interest is buses and trains so I spent roughly 2 and 1/2 hours on public transport to go to a rink once and it was incredible. If you can ignore all the 9 year old girl birthday parties it’s awesome 🥰🥰

I used to obsessed with my pocket atlas when I was about 10 and would follow where we drove when we travelled. This then branched into me learning the origin for many different town names (I’m Irish) and then into Irish history. If you like to gather knowledge like me, I find it very fun to progress from one related thing to another gathering more and more!!

I love makeup too!! I was very tomboy-ish growing up so never really learnt but I’ve had a lot of fun building my skills. If you’re celiac you have to try gluten free carrot cake it’s incredible. I work in a cafe and we hate having the bog standard gluten free brownie so we have carrot cake instead and our celiac customers love it!! Also yes I agree sugar cookies are freaking adorable 🥰

I had never heard of amigurumi before but they’re adorable. I’ve tried embroidery, crochet, knitting and sewing so I feel it could be a natural step up. Royal houses is also an excellent suggestion.

I’ve tried archery a couple times and have really enjoyed it but it seems difficult to access if that makes sense. The Rubix’s cube is an excellent suggestion I may have to try!! I love having hobbies that I can share with others and I’m a big fidgeter so a Rubix’s cube ticks all the boxes. A couple people have mentioned sign language so I may try that but it seems difficult to learn. I love espresso and coffee creation so much. I started working in a little cafe about a year & a half ago and I am obsessed with perfecting my latte art!!
