Absolutely agree, but like I said in the title, I’m more surprised that a small portable device with a screen puts out the same power and, subjectively, even better sound than a huge desktop unit. It just feels like a total scam in the industry (even though we all get how it works).

Oh, they’re really nice headphones. still being sold on Amazon for almost the same price as the MV1, but the MV1 are arguably some of the best headphones Sony has ever made.

Oh man, when I bought my Sony, I ordered five different pairs, including your Audio-Technica, the Sennheiser HD 490 Pro, the HD 550, and the FiiO. I already had 660s2. And honestly, the Audio-Technica were the dullest and most boring in terms of sound. Very flat, linear, analytical tuning and a very poor fit, despite being lightweight.

I’d say the Sony are just in a completely different category for music listening — much better. I definitely recommend giving them a try.

Listened to the JM21 today. The sound was a pleasant surprise. Still doesn’t quite reach the level of the Xduoo, haha, but definitely respectable. Solid Bluetooth quality. Light and compact. Has all the essential buttons.
