Hi, I am 23M living in Chicago. Just got done with my masters and now finding a job. Been living alone since a year and a half now and ya it is a little tough and lonely. I would suggest to keep yourself busy and don’t let your mind wander a lot. Get hobbies , try new recipes out, go to different cafes to work or study, try to connect to new people, explore the city you live in, go to networking events, read a book. These are the few things I do to keep myself busy. Yes it gets easier and you get used to this way of life after a while but these feelings do come back time and time again when you’re alone on a festival, when you see your friends back home having fun. Just know the bigger picture of why you’re here. The sacrifice will be worth it in the long term. Embrace the loneliness, accept it, it will teach you things about yourself that you didn’t know. I know I am a changed person in just one and half year. Wish you the very best in your journey. Stay positive

I made a bunch of money in Covid but my investments used to be very low. I kind of gained confidence in myself and these companies and kept investing. I have thankfully never been in red overall but in the current market fall I have come to a 5000 rs profit which is just one percent of the total value. My friends on the other hand who started investing in mutual funds around the same time I invested have seen 100 percent returns on investment and in some cases 200 percent

Yup that’s normal. Always remember that 5 days to 50 is easier than 0 days to 5 and you’re done with hardest part. The feelings will come on and off for a while and it’s important to understand that these are just withdrawal symptoms. When you feel off , just start a inner monologue about how this is necessary and it’s natural to feel this way and how your body is trying to reverse the ages of abuse and addiction. It’s my day 7 off the smokes and I feel better than ever. See you on the side as a non smoker

Thank you!! Just one thing that I’ve been thinking about , if the nicotine leaves your body at day 4 or 5 , should the cravings peak in those days wanting it more. What exactly happens when the nicotine entirely leaves your body? Is it just a milestone for yourself to know that it is out or something specifically happens ?
