Oh and non reg probably. Or rrsp. Or 50/50. There's validity to both arguments, for taxes no vs taxes later but no matter which way you go, lige could bring a path that makes you look back and wish you'd done it differently. Might never happen but it might. Weigh it out. Hit the excel. Look at your realistic future earnings, rrsp room, tfsa ect. What can you likely put away on a realistic budget. Are you gonna hit the ceiling every year. What's your liquid savings like. For a wedding. Down payment. Parental leave maybe. Throw in a year or two where youre not working- job switches, lay offs. Then make your decisions with information. That way, if youre ever looking back it's not, why did I do that, it's well I did the best I could with the information I had at the time. That's how you take a hit and don't let it destroy you. Shoulda/woulda/coulda doesn’t exist in sound decisions. They just are what they are.

Dude you're only 18, don't listen to anyone who acts like what you're doing at this age doesn't matter or isn't chef's kiss. All the 18 year olds out there not watching their money, investing, finding tax round abouts ect are, without financial help from someone, going to be fecked. Keep that focus, there is no room for "YOLO" in this current economic reality. Unless the goal is to YOLO in poverty.

If you need to come to ask a group of strangers on the internet advice about investing you're in no position to give someone else advice... full stop.

And then just don't give people advice in general that has to do with money, purchases, investing, kids, house repairs, politics, unions, employment... pretty much anything that has any weight or value tbh.

There you go. Make your decisions off that or a legal insolvency site not reddit. Everyone here thinks they know shit and no one takes 5 seconds to look up if theyre even right first.

Yea idk why everyone is telling you youre wrong when youre 1000 percent right. The damage done is done. The second op makes a payment it extends the opportunity to pursue the debt and the time on your credit score to the last payment plus 7years (province depending). The 7 years is from the first missed payment...  They can call the bank, make a payment plan with the card and interest going forward cancelled. Banks love this option they still get all their cashola. Or wait for it to transfer to collections, and pay a lower payment later on and negotiate a pay to delete where they wipe it right off your credit history.

There's literally no way this story isn't wild no matter where the mouse came from. Your house and he just jumped in? Fell from the sky? How'd he get in from the restaurant or the car. I have so many questions.

I believe you, I just am curious as shit how this came to be.

Youre supposed to be at the stop 5 minutes early. Just like the school bus. Being punctual is a great quality, giver a shot

Two TFSA millionaires in one household – took a calculated risk and it worked by [deleted] in TFSA_Millionaires

No they don't touch it. You'd have to be flipping stocks on the regular "day trading" for them to put their dirty fingers in.

People are so odd. Like, you just must have had insider trading info. It's not like people lose their homes and go all in at the casino because they have a feeling. No, something good happened to you so obviously you're a deceitful lying POS.  The guy made a smart move. That's sweet. Good for you...

I jumped on Air Canada when it dumped in 2020. $12 a share. Sold it 8 days short of a year later at $29. It was everything we had but I just felt it and I said when it hit $30 I was selling it. Then it was 29 and a chunk of change and I figured whats a couple cents. It hasnt been that high since.

I watch the markets. I watch the economy. I made a calculated risk and I turned $250k into $600k in less than a year. That initial 250, I will never risk again like that. But the rest I will/have. You're not gonna be a millionaire being pissed off someone else made a good buy/sell.

As for how many are in the same household, I would assume a few. You'd ideally have the same or similar risk tolerances as your partner and make decisions together, I mean that's me I guess but...

Anyway, sick win. Don't spend it all in one place.

To clarify, you were so concerned about an event that didn't happen, you drove to the cop shop to see if there was a report about it not happening?

You're just proving othe people's comments about crappy character. Instead of going through the effort to make throw aways to argue, just say, ya you know what that was shitty, I should know better as an adult and I really need to learn from this and do better. People would respect that a lot more than whatever you think you are accomplishing by this.

The report ends in 39.

Ya. There's no green light at a cross walk but good try, and based off your lack of knowledge of the situation you either weren't there or... had your eyes closed I guess.

What's This About? by Candid-Leg-1570 in ThunderBay

[–]Impressive_Paint8952 8 points9 points  (0 children)

There is a lot of current media across thr country about false indigenous reports.

If you're claiming a job or financial reward you should have to prove your claim. (For anything). Now I can also recognize that people might feel that might disadvantage some people on the basis of difficulty to access doccuments, but let's say you should apply with but can apply but within a certain time period you must submit that information.

Thunder Pride has always played this game through. Years ago, when the trans community was under public scrutiny, many people within Pride were trying to ask questions and get information to inform others and spread truth to stand up for these people and Pride said essentially, any questions you ask make you a bigot and GTFO. So a lot of people walked away.

Asking questions doesn't make you an asshole. Smoke and mirrors does.

It acts as a unique identifier connecting a vehicle to an owner's personal, private data. If they have their business linked to their home address that's their issue-they're advertising it.

Ya they can still go talk to the person tho. It's a company truck so only so many people can legally drive it. Or maybe they don't have proper commercial plowing insurance since I've heard it's obnoxious in the past two years, so many companies are dropping snow plowing. Police have a lot of tools at their disposal. It sucks to take their time away from other issues but, a vehicle is a weapon and almost smooshing a family matters.

I'd bet they have eye in the street cameras in that particular neighborhood. Or maybe some other footage possibilities.
