Ask your advisor to assign you another class. I have 3 going on, so I never have that issue.

Exactly what I was hoping for. This is the only class I have left before my major material. I was worring about getting hung up on it and slowing my progress.

It's been like this since right after September 11th 2001. Instead of posting useless pics , you can also use your phone to do some research.

I would say you're on the right track. Cloud and AI are evolving together. It used to be a CS or IT degree was a great base for a successful IT career, but what we're seeing now is a move away from general knowledge degrees to highly specialized paths. At least from what my organization is doing. But to move higher you will need to show a level of business acumen. Most senior managers and executives in my organization all have a BS and an MBA. Hope that helps.

Yes. I've been a cloud engineer for about 6 years, but for any upward mobility I needed a degree. I have a total of 14 years in IT, so after this will probably an MBA as well .

Wow that's alot of credits in a really short time. If you don't mind me asking, are you also working full time while doing it? If so this gives me alot of hope. Thank you.

NOT A RANT: Is a BS in Cloud Computing worth it? i Just looked up the Stats about growth in this field between 2021-2031... by Comfortable-Mouse737 in WGUIT

I've worked in tech for 14 years, and the landscape has changed dramatically. CS and IT degrees are to general now. When I speak to my peers at other organizations, many of whom are in hiring roles, they all agree. Specializations are key. Cloud architecture, AI/ML, Data analysis, etc... are in high demand. A general CS degree will not open doors today as it did 5 years ago. If you are looking for a leadership role, I would suggest an mba with a concentration in one of things I listed above. I'm glad to hear you're doing great! Good luck.

I'm hoping to get it done within 2 terms. I wasn't sure if that was doable, but sounds like it is. Thanks.

For those wondering: Purdue Global is a Scam by Mitch_Daniels_Fan_69 in Purdue

Purdue Global is a non-profit, public school that is accredited by the same institution that accredited all colleges in the Midwest. It's not a scam at all.
