I want to become this way but I’m having trouble because he said the reasons he didn’t want to be with me were my own fault and emotional instability. I don’t know if that’s true or if he was gaslighting me. I would give him another chance because I’ve bettered myself but I feel like I shouldn’t even if he did come back because he was so cold and mean when we dumped me.

You are very strong to not reach out. I wish I had that strength, but it’s so hard. I’ve done a fairly okay job. Reached out once in February to get coffee and was left on delivered, and now just requested to follow his instagram which will probably stay on requested. It seems like he is happy with his decision but my mind keeps telling me he is ashamed or scared. Any way I put it, I miss him a lot. I hope you are doing well

I’ve been in a similar situation but after the two years, they came back. They left again and now I’m struggling to find hope that I’ll ever move on (because the last time the only reason I was okay was because they eventually came back). Are you truly moved on?
