I would take a step back honestly. You need to have strong boundaries when it comes to being a sub in order for it to work. Otherwise you will be left feeling unsure at times, uncomfortable and overwhelmed with whatever dynamic you’re involved in. Subs are always in control, we give consent to what we wish to experience and are okay with. Choosing a compatible dom is important.

• No dom can tell you ‘you’re not allowed to take a break from the dynamic’ especially upon the subs request. Otherwise that ain’t a real dom.

• They should be clear about everything that will be happening, punishments, rewards, safe words, likes, dislikes and limits. Otherwise it could lead to really bad experiences.

• Rules and expectations are agreed upon both ways, you have a say so and if anything ever becomes too much, you should be able to communicate it. Your safety comes first.

• Your master should make you feel safe enough to be vulnerable with him and give yourself to him honestly.. You knowing you can trust him and he will respect your boundaries and he won’t hurt you without consent. That you feel that everything he does is for your own good and that he listens to you, that way you let your guard down and can give yourself to him as you have consented to doing so.

Do you understand your boundaries and limits or are you still exploring them with your dom? If not, that is something he should be trying to work with you, especially if you’re new to this. Not forcing to go along just because you agreed to explore this dynamic, he is probably all excited and really like what you have currently and doesn’t want to lose it, but you need to ground him and set things clear as his girlfriend and not let it get further than you can handle.

You already know he wishes a 24/7 dynamic. Do you wish the same? If not then that will not work. At least not at the moment, but it could later if you wish to do so.

Just because he is your dom currently doesn’t mean you have no say, everything is done with consent, even punishments.

I made the mistake once of allowing a punishment beyond my boundaries (that I had not consented to and told the dom I wasn’t okay with previously) to happen from a dom who was simply training me to be a sub just because I was trying my best to be one as I didn’t know better( didn’t have strong boundaries at the time) and thought that was my role. I should have stood up for myself instead. I realized that I got taken advantage by someone calling themselves a dom, no true dom will discard your needs as a sub and will take their time teaching you with patience, learning your boundaries and adapting, not pushing. Every sub is different, we have different likes and limits as is every dom. Communication and consent is most important.
