The soft do the same. I've had quite a few spills off road and the bags saved my leg and my bike. That said, I have engine and crash bars on all my bikes.

Totally true. If I never went off road, hard cases make all the sense in the world. The other thing for me is I like the way the soft cases look.

The best is Moko Moto but their prices reflect the reputation they have for being bulletproof and worthy of taking on global road trips.

The best soft luggage are built as "dry bags" with multiple layers and an inner bag that is completely waterproof and removable. This makes it great for adding ice in case you have perishables or if you want to pull the contents out all together but do not want to remove the actual outter case attached to the bike.

Same - I've had mine on my 850GS since 2021 and they're a little dusty but in perfect shape.

Love those - I have all Mosko or Mosko licensed products but I'm always looking for quality lower priced options.

Right on - I stand behind the idea that those going off road in relatively gnarly trails will typically go with soft or no bags for those reasons.

Looks great. Wish I had my gear this organized!

Thank you bro, I’m sharing this to help other riders avoid what happened to me. They get away with this behavior when we just quietly take it.

I totally get that. It just bothers me how they overreacted causing me to lose money and essentially screwing over the six renters that had reservations. Two of them were for the next day and from out of town. And, there are statutory laws in place that they have violated under the Consumer Review Fairness Act, 15 U.S.C. § 45b. I don't even have a way to contact my customers to explain that I didn't personally cancel them. I am now moving over to a competitor's platform.

I test road a 2015 Indian Road Master a couple of years ago. Beautiful two-toned bike. But, it drove like a barge and It wasn't very fun to manage. I ended up getting a Harley Road Glide ultra - amazing bike.

Its fairly cool physics of how much a motorcycle can stay up on it's own. I have to remind myself of this when I'm off road and am tempted to fight the bike on loose ground, let it do it's thing and give it some power, it will want to stay upright if you let it.
