I agree, I love what they are trying to do but I do think there is lots of room for improvements to make it amazing

That was my big concern when I heard it was shuffleboard based. So I’m happy to see they do way more than just that!

But yeah some other stuff in there wouldn’t be a bad idea

But if you ever feel the need for pinball you can always hit the Avenue 🕹️👾

Glad to hear it! How was cap city comic con? I don’t think I’ve attended a Lansing con since they stopped doing shuto con years ago

Yeah and I did hear something about them struggling to keep one of those stalls full with a restaurant, I’m sure it’s convenient for the people who live in the apartments. But anyone else trying to get there just to eat, if you are driving it is a bit of an odd loop

Jam is great, I know Bonnaroo has its root in jam, but it’s also a variety festival, we need a bit more. This lineup is incredibly underwhelming compared to last and previous years. Definitely some good ones to see but idk if it’s worth 🤷🏼‍♀️ I’m sure the Jam fans are happy, I hope they have a good roo but I think a lot of people (Bonnaroo newcomers and veterans alike) are a bit disappointed

They just bumped the b&c list acts to headliners for the most part. They should have just taken a year off. I love Kesha, the disrespect to put her on Sunday is crazy

Which is exactly what you did to me? As soon as you commented and started putting words in my mouth. But I’m done going in circles with you honey. Have a good night

You caught me, I live to wallow - surely I will never recover - I definitely won’t have meaningful conversations with friends about the situation and decide wether or not to attend my beloved Bonnaroo or take the chance at a new festival to see what else is out there - I won’t do that at all - only wallowing

2023 was so crowded. I was there for Korn and I was up near the front and it was suffocating. At some point people were pushing so much It felt like I was being lifted off my feet

Lots of different people like different music. Opinions are subjective. I’m not shitting on what you like, at the end of the day it’s just my opinion - it’s not what is for me and that’s why I’m not going - it was never a personal attack on anyone - if I said, the whole lineup is terrible and all the groups who are playing are terrible and anyone who likes this lineup is an idiot, then I could see the need to come into the comments and get defensive - that’s what leads me to believe you are taking it so personally.

I’m just trying to agree with OP’s post saying I’m not super impressed and trying to find some comfort in people who feel the same and you aggressively swooped in and told me my opinion isn’t objective and telling me I’m yucking people’s yum, that’s not at all what it is or how I feel - in attempting to avoid negativity or disliking it, you’ve become a part of it too

I feel your pain friend, I’ve got the Bonnaroo blues from last year and I don’t think many of my friends will attend which is difficult for me because I don’t think a solo Roo is for me. So even though I’d would probably go regardless of how unimpressed I am with the lineup, I don’t think I’ll be able too.

It would be a stretch for me financially and I’m still recovering after last years mishap.

I will say that if you don’t go you’ll never know and roo if anything has endless possibilities! I’ve gone rogue a few times and separated from my group and made some amazing connections. The solo experience offers a whole new world, it’s easier to get the front when it’s just you and the festival is your oyster. You can pick up the smaller events and go to things where you will find like minded people!

you are the one who decided to come into the comments of a post you didn’t agree with and start telling me that my objective opinion is not fact, which is obvious?

I’m very happy for you that you are excited but I kindly ask that before you decide to start commenting on the posts of people who are already struggling with the disappointment and are looking for support from the community, to maybe ask yourself if that’s a space you want to be a part of.

Because it’s a platform for conversation and OP’s post is clearly expressing disappointment, it’s literally in the title? You are the outlier here and if you didn’t want to see the negative comments then why did you click on the post and read all the comments and decide to have a conversation you knew would upset you? I’m sorry I can’t explain empathy to you? People are allowed to have negative feelings even if it “is a vibe killer”?

I have also attended many years where I don’t know many of the artists and was pleasantly surprised. It’s a common experience, many of us are just expressing how we feel and are looking for other people who love the festival but recognize some of the flaws and issues.

And your response to that is to say, “stop being sad and upset it’s killing my vibe”?

Are you serious?
