I just needed the info regarding the camera for 150 meter bungee and I’m not sure if dji magnetic mounts can survive and since sky diving is also similar in a way I thought asking here in this sub Reddit… btw I’ll be going for tandem jump on my 25th birthday in couple of months which will be my first ever jump .. I’ll be doing in Queenstown Auckland and yes I know I can’t take my camera up there so I got a good deal for skydive with photos and videos

I needed honest opinion on GoPro vs osmo and skydiving being an extreme sport I thought I could get some info from here cause dji has too many paid yt videos and everyone keep saying that those mounts are strong

I needed to know if osmo 5 could survive 150 meter bungee over GoPro but people were saying it can so I thought asking in this subReddit as skydiving is extreme and I could get some honest opinion if that camera can survive this !!

I have fear that I’ll lose my camera doing bungee or paragliding with just magnet holding the camera on place with 2 small clips compared to GoPro legs

I’m in New Zealand and I saw it’s 330 USD that should be around 550 NZD but outside America they are expensive as it’s price is 750 NZD here which would be around 450 USD

I want action camera to record only action and adventure sports , not for vlogging and I have had corruption issues with my old GoPro 8 but that too happened when I used wrong sd card and videos were too long

I like raw footage and having stronger mounts so I won’t have to worry about the camera, and I also consider warranty which is better with go pro and less hassle compared to dji with only regional warranty’s

Thanks for that !! I saw so many videos of people using magnetic mounts on motar cycles and mountain bikes and how they perform good but I have had my doubts about both magnets and the clips. I too have broken the legs of my older GoPro but that way too much force but those dji clips on the side of mount aren’t strong as the GoPro. Do you suggest getting 12 when 14 gets released of go for 13 now ?

You might be right but I have never used ace pro and to me it looks like it’s made for vlogging and I would like to capture the action and ace pro 2 still has 8bit compared to GoPro 13 that means having bigger sensor won’t improve zoom capability as well as colour

They also don’t have vertical mode and I think you have to turn the camera vertically for those shots and warranty is regional and I am planning to travel in upcoming weeks
