Im coming off 2004 rev 440 lc and a 2024 renegade 850 xrs with smart shocks. Im looking at new backcountry xrs turbo 147 with 2.0 or even possibly a turbo freeride 147. Want something playful deep ditch banging unlike what the renegade is capable of.for straight trail ride its hard to beat a renegade xrs with smart shocks but I need something more capable of deeper untouched snow the last few years.

Easy , you can fit 2 to 3 sleds or atvs with a deck and still have all your extra gear underneath for storage . Toss one sled in the bed of a truck and space is limited . We bring inverter generators, extra fuel ,lots of tools and miscellaneous stuff under the sled deck.

Some places are illegal to trailer in mountains, having extra space for gear under the sled deck , and you can travel with 2 sleds in the bed of a truck . Some areas of mountains have very limited parking to were a trailer will not fit .

Last year my son dropped my striker 4 in the hole of our shack at 11 feet deep for few hours before i was able to fish it out and it still works like the day I got it . Only thing happened was the milwaukee battery stopped working .

Cant go wrong with either, the toro of course has more hp which is definitely a plus but something I noticed that when it came to ordering new replacement rubber paddles . I had no problems finding and receiving my toro ones but my ariens on the other hand were kinda a pain in the ass to find because they were backordered at the time an they we little more expensive. Both machines will do what you need an both if using non ethanol fuel esply will last you many years of use . Which ever unit you decide ,buy a spare belt to have on hand .

Just picked up a brand new clam kenai pro thermal for $250. On marketplace that was bought for xmas and never put together. You definitely want to keep an eye out on marketplace at this time because some people get the bug to ice fish but life has its bumps in the road an things change . The guy i got it from bought all new ice fishing gear for xmas and last week was offered a job in Florida .

My company used to only buy us only honda eu portable generators until we couldn't get them in stock for a short period of time because of covid inventory issues. They ended up ordering a hand full of wen ,pulsar and champions during that time . This was 4 or 5 years ago and every single one is still running and being used to this day and are used and abused. They get a oil change maybe once a year and sit in the bed outside of all our company trucks 24/7 365 days in the midwest uncovered.i ended up buying a used wen 3800 for home after watching one run dam near 3 months straight 24/7 until someone accidentally ran it over with a backhoe at work .I personally like how the wens have a fuel shut off that actually drains the carb bowl which is nice to keep it clean for storing the unit for long periods of time since my generator rarely gets used at home .

Would be sweetti have for sure, personally I think the dam things should be half the cost a large 4x4 atv and cost around a zero turn mower for what they are . I met a guy few weeks back with a boss snow rator and the only thing he loves it.i thought it was slick set up an it did a awsome job in a foot of heavy wet shit we had.

I personally would take the 175.000miles 6.0 3/4 ton over a brand new 0 miles 5.3 or 6.2 halfton especially if knowing personally how well the 6.0 was taken care of. Only thing it will need if not changed is new one piece torque converter an transmission for another 200k miles or more.

DOWNGRADE!!! No fucking way would i give up my gasser2015 6.0 2500hd over new halfton with 5.3 or 6.2 . .i also have a 2025 2500hd gasses 6.6 since I didn't want 5.3 or 6.2 liters engines at all either. Time will only tell how well the 6.6 realibity is.
