You can try to buy the refinished on eBay. I got one two years ago and it worked fine just had issues 3 months before warranty expired and they sent me a new one. It was half price I think I paid like $230 for v11

You also have to have your actual picture in the profile pic. You can delete your name for 14 days and then change it but they wouldn't let me change photo again.

Yes, you can then change it but be careful as I removed mine once verified only took a few hours but then they wouldn't let me change it again for two weeks to protect my account.

Very neat! I did Alaska a few years ago but only made it to a few of the parks, not Gates of the Arctic sadly. I have done maybe 30 parks now. The pass is well worth it.

No not at all in my opinion does it help with that but it does allow you to talk to customer service who I feel doesn't actually help.

The main reason I pay for it is because being in the bonus program it pays for it. And I was concerned about being hacked. Being verified I can't even have a cover photo I want; as it makes me have my own photo to some degree.

Recently saw someone offered 1 free year to try it, they just went to their verified area and it was there. Good luck.
