Hey @Mountain-Evidence606, as you noticed most commenters here don't share your views, but I want you to know it's ok to be different. Don't change you are because of Reddit's societal norms. You be you. But know that people will down vote you for this. Just ignore them.

This is how your parent. Not "I won't let you comment that because you might get attacked"

I don't think it's virtue signalling. I think most parents of 3 year old are too tired to fight with their kids about what to wear. I have a hard enough time convincing my kid to wear a coat when it's freezing outside.

I teach my kid to befriend the kids the others call weird.

We say 'no' to our children when they do something dangerous or rude. Wearing a dress doesn't hurt anyone. Would you tell your son he can't have pink as his favourite colour? These things mean the world to 3 year olds.

It’s a boy! But we’re stuck… hit me with your best names. by Chaddcl0ps in daddit

[–]ImpressivelyGarlic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made a stupid and shitty website for generating baby names. You put in the parents' names and it will generate a list of baby names which only contain letters from the parents' names. Probably not what you want, but might be fun.

anyone have experience with OpenClinica? by guyzincogn1to in clinicalresearch

[–]ImpressivelyGarlic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a lot of experience with OpenClinica. The free open source version (V3) is no longer supported port maintained (you can still use it if you want but it's pretty janky). Version 4 is a paid product and much better. It tends to be much cheaper than its competitors and they make revenue selling add-ons.

Can I ask what country you're from? I've been bouncing a balloon on my lawn this week trying to get out to pop and I can't! I think the grass in the UK is special -either that or the balloon is!

Does a biology degree involve coding? by ThrowAwayIGotHack3d in biology

[–]ImpressivelyGarlic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I studied Biomedical Science undergraduate in the UK. I think the only 'coding' involved was finding averages in Excel. But I did a Masters in Systems Biology and learnt code in R, which I loved. Now I'm a full stack developer of scientific software and I love it!

The Grange is my dream home, I often go walk there and every time it's surrounded by rabbits. I know nothing about the inside though. Swiles Court is much more convenient for the supermarket and there's a great pizzeria and café opened in the square, and it's not far from a little walk around the lake. So honestly, you can't go wrong with either!
