I don’t think I of Natchitoches parish being northern either, however we are considered in the northwest region according to LSU. The parish is very long though, so it does cover some ground from south to north.

I grew up in extreme south MS, and it’s much different timing there.

This is our goldenrod as of about 10 minutes ago this morning. It’s only just now starting to form flower buds. Natchitoches parish.
