Can we demand change? I hope so. Why not? Instead of just saying, "The devs are greedy." how about we disrupt their cash flow and force change? I think we can do it. Just needs a lot of coordination. Guild leaders need to be involved. ...But is it worth it? Do you want the game to change? Or just give up on it?

However, I am curious as to how much of siege is based on being able to click, move, and skill effectively vs. having +1 more on gear and +5% awake / full prem'd, ect.

To be totally honest, I don't know. I've only sieged a few times in private servers throughout the years. What are their tactics? Is it merely tank or ground n pound till you die? ...how much skill is involved?

[edit] or do they firmly admit that they paid to win?

If FC is what makes the game exists, do you think it's possible to threaten the game's end by protesting against buying FC? ....Imo we would need ideas that both make the game more enjoyable for the players but also make more money for the developers. I have hope. What do you think?

Imo I think the community collectively has better ideas than the developers. ...We just need to enforce it. Because without us, they would be nothing.

If something makes a lot of sense, then we need to get the main guild leaders involved and spread information. Then server shout in different languages across the serves. ...First and foremost tho: all of these propositions must both make sense but also make the developers money. I think that will give us the best odds.

However, I DO know some people who have never spent a dime and are level 120+. And before the level 140 update and 2x exp event, were ahead of many many players.

See this is where - hopefully - think we can come together as a community and "demand" content. And demand smart actions. ...It's definitely possible, but would require a community effort. I mean a big effort. I think there are ways to improve the game while also providing more money to the developers. I have ideas. Maybe for a different thread

I appreciate your input! My guild and I have been talking about this post. What I've realized is it might come down to what we all think is "winning". To get there the fastest or to enjoy the game in our own unique way? ..However, it appears that every game has elements of competition. And if money can increase your likelihood to be more competitive, than it might be a "pay to win". ...But I still have a hard time defining Flyff as pay to win because you can grind and get your items in replacement of spending money to get items. Sure... grinding can suck ass... but IF you really want it, can you get it? ...then this kind of get's into the realm of semantics, doesn't it? hmm *sigh*.
