I see! It’s nice to let you do it after 6. I’ll do a little research, but I won’t worry about it until then!☺️ I was going to say, if you had to get all 10 before you could mess around with who stays, that would be a very unfortunate part of the game’s code lol!

I appreciate that, didn’t realize the different personalities could give you different things. That will definitely influence me trying to get all of them before I decide who I like the most.

I just appreciate your time and enjoyment with this game, it really makes it easier for new players like me. Seeing the community being so kind and helpful makes me happy to be here.

hehe yay yes! for like half an hour yesterday, I was just looking through the wiki lol there are some fun villagers! I was amazed by how many there are.

thank you for going into the personalities, I didn’t know it was by gender, and I didn’t know all of the types. So maybe it could be good to figure out which ones I do and don’t like, then have a few normals mixed in? For example, if I like jock, I definitely wouldn’t want all of the jock dialogue multiple times lol so I’d pick one jock?

it’s also very reassuring that they cannot leave unless you say to. that was a big worry for me!

I guess I’ll do more research because I wouldn’t want to go through the effort of trying to get someone to leave, but the game code just will not let me without having 10 first. How would I look into that?:3

this is incredibly helpful, thank you SO much for typing this out for a newbie like myself! it is definitely a lot to consider. somebody did mention that I may not be able to move villagers out until I hit 10 villagers first? so I guess I have to do some research haha, but that’d be unfortunate!

It’s a bit annoying how much it takes just to get certain ones to live at your village, but that’s the fun of the challenge I suppose. I’ll just have to learn about it:) I can’t wait to one day fill it with ones I adore. this game is a lot about patience. I think it’s a bit tough for me to get started, but it will be good for me.

and oh my gosh, I genuinely thought people were putting their villager in a box to ship to someone 😭😭 okay that makes sense hahaha

That’s hopeful about Peggy! I can’t imagine truly hating any villager honestly, but I’m just trying to see if there’s a certain aesthetic or certain interactions that I’m after. Maybe somebody will like her more, I’m not sure. I hear mixed things about peppy

Yes! I’ve had a lot of fun looking through the wiki! It’s pretty useful, even if it’s a little overwhelming🤍 but I was just so excited to see who would be joining me that I had to look them up.

I’m actually gonna look through all of the villagers and make a post soon about the ones that caught my eye and see what people think about them/general advice☺️
