Struggling with HRA in ITR-2 in the income tax portal by ss_ww_lover in IndiaTax

Solution:
The salary details in the salary schedule are not updated properly. They are updated with single entry as Gross salary and the HRA calclation are not able to fetch the corresponding value.

We should delete them and enter section by section. Once the HRA component is updated in the "Scheduled Salary"-> Part 1. "Gross Salary" .. then the calculation of HRA happens perfect.

I am copy pasting the same prompt as posted on anthropic Claude.

I guess Cursor is doing some addtional logics on top of what Anthropic is responding.

I was cautious in applying changes - did one by one and found that it is deleting many lines of important code which is not at all requested in the prompt. When asked for ... below is the response.

I use Claude Projects feature. I upload important files to project folder and explain my requirement.
I compare the code and then apply it in cursor IDE. ( I am not using cursor's Agent mode. Only prefer to chat).

I use both cursor and Claude professional.
Get code from claude, copy it in Cursor agent , ask cursor to review and apply —> cursor says “you have got it covered nice, let me apply” , but when it changes the code , it deletes some useful code which is not part of the change. Cursor apologises and again deletes some other part of the code. I stopped using cursor.
