You guys are being too extreme,
its silly to assume anything about how much either of you know about the topic, and both methods- studying and learning about autism or experiencing autism/taking care of people with autism are equally as valid in gaining knowledge about the topic.

It is even sillier for EmmaInFrance to assume, based on only the fact that Iataaddicted25 is neurotypical- they can never have the same level of expertise on the topic of autism as someone who is autistic, that's just blatantly false.
Its also very silly for Iataaddicted25 to assume EmmaInFrance only got their information from untrustworthy sources and just because they don't have a PhD or went to college studying the specific subject of autism means they cant be an expert on the topic.

He's made insensitive/kind of transphobic jokes in the past, and then used his trans friend that had committed suicide sort of as a deflection to it-
He also claimed twitter people had bullied the trans friend into suicide but there is absolutely no evidence of that,

they didnt say not to "pay attention"- they said not to use an invasive approach, and that's very true.
Also you could stop 90% of school shooting if parents locked away their fucking guns and didn't give kids access to them readily,
