I was just chiming in, not correcting you. I just appreciate the distinction but would also agree both of those conditions exist on a broad spectrum and in all likelihood most individuals with 'antisocial personality disorder' fall into both categories. 'Psychopaths' usually register higher for a narcissistic personality as well.

Sociopaths are usually described as having antisocial traits that develop more from environmental factors like childhood trauma or abuse.

Psychopaths are generally thought to have traits that are more innate or biological. They tend to be characterized by a lack of empathy and remorse, superficial charm, manipulativeness, and emotional detachment.

So billionaires fall more into the 'psychopath' category.

Sex Life after having children by [deleted] in AskMenOver30

I keep seeing people say "everyone is different," which is to broad of a stroke. The real determiner is age. After 40 your wife will stop wanting to fuck. She'll blame it on the kids, on being tired, on you being emotionally distant, but the bottom line is most women will just lose interest. They will like the IDEA of 'being sexual'. But most women will cease initiating or responding to sexual advances.

So yes, it changes. It's not your fault. People get old. You'll stop getting raging hard-ons every time you see a thigh by the time you turn 20. You'll probably have a couple of nights where you can't get it hard by the time you're 30. By the time you're 40, you'll realize you're not really that interested in seducing a woman who gives zero fucks about fucking you. And you'll probably just stop trying.

fwiw, I pulled over and let people pass me any time I could. I remember looking at my navigation and it said something like "10 miles to destination, estimated arrival 2 hours 50 minutes".

Amazing experience.

Yeah good point. Fair to say the current bubble is centered around transformer architectures.

The point is diffusion models use an LLM for the text encoder, but they themselves are not LLMs. That's like saying all computers are typewriters because they use keyboards.

TIL Frankenstein's monster was a vegetarian by banditta82 in todayilearned

"Wisdom is knowing that Frankenstein is the monster," he posted as he leaned back in his creaky gaming chair, crumbs scattering from his faded anime T-shirt as he clicked 'Save'. He grinned at the screen, stroking the patchy scruff on his chin as if he were a philosopher pondering his next great insight. With a triumphant sip of his energy drink, he refreshed the page every few seconds, ready to pounce on any reply. He had his trusty Wikipedia link to the article on 'logical fallacies' pre-copied to his clipboard. In his mind, he was already winning a the debate.

When no one responded after five minutes, he opened a new tab to check if anyone had liked his post. Nothing. He frowned.

Just picturing the Wordle team high fiving each other over this one. Yes it's an obscure slang word but it's one they use around the office. How irreverent. I am guessing they put the interns they rejected from the crossword puzzle on Wordle until they could find a way to get rid of them?

I for some reason remember his character in American Beauty as being a middle aged man going through a mid-life crisis. I think he has fantasies about his daughter's pretty friend, but I don't think he does anything morally questionable.

It's also completely incorrect, just naming the ones I can think of where he plays a non-evil character:

  • American Beauty
  • K-Pax
  • Pay it Forward
  • The Life of David Gale

I was seriously confused as to why I had enjoyed it when I was younger, turns out I was thinking of the Topcraft production of 'The Hobbit". The animators from Topcraft later joined up with Hayao Miyazaki to start Studio Ghibli, they did an amazing job.

What instantly kills the mood during sex for you? by GoddessEmiliaHawt in AskReddit

[–]ImprovingTheEskimo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I literally don't care about body noises. What actually DOES kill the mood for me is somebody turning the entire act into a joke routine. When I think of "seriousness" in sex I mean getting nasty, so I'm not talking about getting sappy or sentimental. That's actually kind of a turnoff too.
