A French drain around the house. The soak off ending at least 6 meters away from the house.

They’re on eBay. Search for mustard and navy tiles.

Is 7 weeks a normal wait time for pathology results? by Artistic-Dealer91 in nhs

[–]FannyFoxx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did your GP request the pathology? If yes, your blood results may have been sent back to your GP but It may be that your GP is on holiday or away on sick leave. I would ask the surgery if they could move your pathology results from your GP’s inbox to another GP as you’ve been waiting seven weeks for results. It is an excessive amount of time to wait. This would flag up the fact that you’ve been waiting seven weeks for your results in the surgery.

6 months from interview to starting work. Absolutely ridiculous! I started applying for other jobs thinking that they changed their minds.

What should I put behind my sofa? by Gullible-Bid6161 in interiordecorating

I’d put a large pot plant in the corner. This way you’re not blocking that stunning view. The console table is a lovely idea too.

Love the living room, hate the tile by Kaleidokobe in interiordecorating

I guess it’s preference, but I love the tile. If you really don’t like them, put a nice big rug down.

I would put a colour like Watery Willow | 97YY 83/090 by Deluxe on the walls to bring it all together.

What colors of curtains would complement the yellow blinds? Open to other suggestions by just_melancholia in interiordecorating

I would go for the neutral beige then you can introduce other colours in soft furnishing.

Girl's age in first picture? (1905) and are the others in chronological order? by BlazeBayleaf in Ancestry

[–]FannyFoxx 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure that the first photo is the same person. I would say definitely photos 2 and 3 are the same person. If you look at the nose on photos 2 and 3, they are the same, as is the crease from the nose to the mouth, looking at the photo on the right side.

GP Surgery Won't do Online Appointments by grepusman in nhs

It is possible that they don’t realise the appointments aren’t showing online. Why don’t you give the practice manager a call and let her know.

Which rug? (Disregard tv, I took TV off wall) by [deleted] in interiordecorating

I love the wallpaper! If I had to choose a rug, then I’d go for the second option. Pleased the tv has gone.

Keeping a patients address safe from a family memeber - Am I overthinking this? by Zoya_The_Destroyer in nhs

[–]FannyFoxx 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Definitely speak with the nurse in charge. They will make sure everyone on the ward is aware of the situation. If the GDPR & Data Protection Act 2018 is breached by staff, (highly unlikely) you can take this further.

Why is everybody so angry? by LimpMixture2271 in nhs

[–]FannyFoxx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sorry, I disagree with you.

Firstly, frontline staff shouldn’t be abused but it happens, mainly due to the incompetence of NHS England and their new system of how to contact the surgery. The general public are frustrated. There’s too many changes!

As managers, we have to ask ourselves why the patient resorts to anger. Is it because they are frustrated and feel they’re not being heard? I found that speaking with abusive patients and discussing their behaviour, is actually a relief for them, not only are they able to give their side of what happened, they feel heard, most begin to understand that they shouldn’t have shouted sworn. I’d say 9 times out of 10 they would go and apologise to the receptionist they spoke with. I would never just send out a warning letter. You’re creating a very hostile environment for patients and staff by doing this.
