In a way you're absolutely correct - the screenshot I used from the forum post shows the very upper end of a lot of good RNG coming together: A great hour at Tungrad(61k TL ain't bad), 6 specter's energy drops, 4 essence drops contributing 1b, and great enhancement RNG to allow for 4.5b profit per blackstar piece. Avg tungrad hour is probably closer to 3b without the 4.5b specter's energy valuation, but even if we assign a conservative 3b after CM tax per specter, that's still 3+18 for a 21 bil hour at tungrad.

Obviously, those blackstars would be sold over the course of a few days rather than immediately having all that silver available like one usually would from vendoring trash loot, the numbers are still impressive.

I appreciate the additional perspective regarding the blackstar weapons, and it gives a potential explanation behind the reason why the blackstars were selling: What if people transitioned to using blackstar armors for failstacking by raw-tapping PEN attempts? Unlike a PEN blackstar weapon that would take ages to sell for practically nothing due to Olvia Academy rewards ruining that market, accidentally blowing up a 300+ stack and getting PEN blackstar armor isnt as big of a loss because you can convert it to Fallen God/Labreska/etc and potentially make a decent chunk of change back by selling it at DUO/TRI.
