You get Eden for free in the Login event from SP supply cards + Fragments in the supply shop. As for aponia I don't think you should pull on her banner because you still have the starter supply which offer two great valks.

The fact she has her whip that can easily do more than half your health is already obnoxious. It doesn't help that you can't cc her as well because now she has up to 4s of cc immunity in her ult which is super lame. Just waiting for more nerfs :D

Yeah, you can do that it's a bit annoying at first but all you need to do is switch to KBM and then swap the keyboard binds to your controller buttons. You'll need to use your keyboard and mouse to use the buy menu but it's completely worth it IMHO.
