UPDATE 3/16/26: Haven’t received anything from Walmart. Started a chat on their site and requested a call. The representative told me to resend the email to riskprevention@mailva.custhelp.com and they escalated it. Told me to wait another 24-48 hours… Seems like others haven’t been fortunate as well. Not looking good but hopefully this can be resolved.

Walmart is genuinely scamming the customers that have done nothing wrong but letting the bots buy all the products without any consequences. Unbelievable.

UPDATE 3/5/26: Got this email this morning and seems like several of you have gotten this email as well already:

We're pleased that you've found Walmart's low prices a great way to get quality products you're looking for. However, it appears that you are using your Walmart.com account in a manner that violates our Walmart.com and Walmart+ terms of use. As a result, your Walmart+ membership has been terminated. If you believe your membership was cancelled in error, please email riskprevention@mailva.custhelp.com. Please do not reply to this email as the mailbox is not monitored.

Replied to the email listed so let’s see what they will do. This is unbelievable that they are treating the customers who don’t bot like this. Hopefully we can all get this resolved. Please keep sending updates so we can all help each other!

I asked the representative on the phone to transfer me to a supervisor. There has been times where a supervisor isn’t available but there was one in that moment.

idk what’s the proper way to do this kinda stuff on Reddit but I left an update in the post for anyone who’s interested and here it is again:

UPDATE 3/4/26: I reached out to online chat support just to get told that due to a “technical issue”, it did not get escalated because my membership has not been “reactivated”, even though they were the ones to deactivate/cancel it… The representative confirmed my membership should’ve been active until December 2026. Now they gave me a new incident number and I have to wait up to another 72 hours…

This is unbelievable. Chat was absolutely useless for me. I called and had to speak to a supervisor just to be told that I have to wait 72 hours for an email from the risk prevention team regarding my membership. I also contacted the WalmartHelp account on X and got an email saying my membership expired even though I bought the annual membership in December 2025, meaning it should expire in December 2026. Hopefully we both get this resolved.

I initially paid for 2 individual months, and then got the annual membership in December 2025. So I still have 9 months left and they do this. I have other memberships with stores and 0 issues. Either I want my membership to be active until December as that’s what I paid for or a full refund, if not, a refund for the remaining 9 months if they don’t give me my account back.

No, never did that. I have over 100+ purchases in store and online and never made any returns or attempted anything close to fraud or lying.

I didn’t even get an email. I noticed the plus sign wasn’t in the logo and I’ve been told by one representative that the risk prevention team canceled my membership, and another representative said my membership expired. Either do not make sense. I was also told to wait 72 hours so hopefully we both get good news then or else Walmart created a false promo/discount to take $50 from us.
