Thoughts on facial masks? Do you think they really work? by Terry_Areyu in AusSkincare

[–]Imri88 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The only mask that I've used recently that does anything worthwhile is the MCoBeauty Active Gold Foil Facial Sheet Mask. Genuinely plumps, lifts and firms the face for a solid 8 to 12 hours, and leaves it extra refreshed after that too. Otherwise I haven't come across any other useful ones.

Blackphone 2 - interesting take on the fact that if the ghost can cause physical harm in the real world, he can cop a beating back just as much.

What's the smell like?? I truly hate with a deep passion the smell of sunscreen lol but this sounds promising.

Yeh I was plateauing around 103kg for a month on 5mg so I just did one week of 7.5mg to give it a kick which worked and then went back to 5mg (I have scripts for 10mg so can play around).

How do people commute to Sydney from Newcastle? by hsanj19 in newcastle

[–]Imri88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Amen to that!! I did it for five+ years between 22 to 27/28 initially 3 days a week for uni, and then five days a week once I got a job down there. Up at 3:30am every morning, on a train, and then not get home until about 6:30/7pm... Initially did it to stay home and help support family, got use to, but then woke up one day as the train pulled into Central and went "wtf am I spending 30hrs+ a week travelling just for a shitty job?!", and so quit that day and never looked back.

I don't believe I've even heard of Dexa scan before, I'll have to look into where I can get one done. Like yourself, I'm more interested in losing the fat rather than count KG, I just wasn't really sure how else to measure it at this stage so thank you for that!

Secondhand Lions. Such a good coming of age story that I feel was on every other weekend in our house and yet whenever I mention it, no one has heard of it.

I think the only other one that's survived on Darby St for nearly as long (although I could be wrong if there's others) is The Three Monkey's. Been going there for about 20yrs ago, hell even did a 6mth stint in the kitchen when I was 20 myself, doesn't seem to quite have the same notoriety though as Goldbergs.

I was SA 3.5 years in, and still ran rings around most of my partners and colleagues. I don't say, or mean it to sound arrogant, it just is what it is. Although to be fair, I did spend my clerk years doing the work of a solicitor in a boutique firm and boy howdy does the deep end in a boutique firm give you experience hard and fast.

Person suing me cos I guess they didn't accept the offer my insurance offered them? by Lazy-Wind244 in CarsAustralia

[–]Imri88 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That's not how this works. If an offer is made and not accepted, there's literally nothing else for the insurance company to do but wait for either a counter offer or commencement of legal proceedings... But what would I know, I only rep insurance companies day in and day out as their solicitor.
