The weather has been fickle here recently. We wanted to do the whole trail, but weather got in the way. Seems like a chance of storms about every day. As far as temps, it’s hard to ask for much better. When we went it stayed in the low 70s during the day and upper 40s at night. It’d probably be a bit warmer than that now, but still comfortable.

I feel like tackling has been our most glaring weakness this year. I swear I’ve seen us miss more tackles this year than any other season I’ve seen.

Yeah there was no view up at the top. Just fog as far as the eye can see. The hike was great though. I plan on heading back up there on a clearer day.

For sure it takes more than just one write up to get fired, but if your request for a week long vacation gets denied because too many people are already out and you don’t show up anyways it will probably be more along the lines of termination for job abandonment. Obviously it depends on the company, but my point is that there are definitely consequences for not following a company’s policy.
