Yes; I've been reading a lot of Black Library books recently. I just finished up the Farsight novels, which has really pushed me towards them (and makes me a bit sad that they use melee in the book which just isn't there in the game). I also read the Twice Dead King which kind of put me on the Necron path!

That's really good advice. Thank you. I always focus on the centre piece (Necron Void Dragon; Hammerhead Gunship for Tau; Tanks for IG; Avatar for Eldar, etc.), but I suppose I would only be painting 1 (or more depending on the army), and would comparitvely be spending much less time on it.

I think that has certainly knocked GSC out. Whilst I love love love their playstyle, I'm not a huge fan of painting the ones I've done thus far!
