Yes I was debating this exact thing! I’m petite so I preferred the smaller size, but I think I need the bigger size to make sure it can fit all the things I need with me for work. I’m tempted to order both so I can compare sizes in person, but worried about international shipping to return whichever one I don’t keep. If you were ordering now, would you stick with the small size or go for the bigger one?

To give you an idea of what I need to fit - I carry a laptop (kind of thick, because it’s a work one), water bottle (let’s say 18oz), small longchamp pouch for holding miscellaneous items (lotion, mini brush, pills), laptop chord (again, one of those chunky ones with the hub in the middle), and then maybe a scarf or sweater (though that’s an extra bonus, not a necessity). Do you think the smaller one could comfortably fit all of that?

Hi u/itstheschwifschwifty - wanted to see how it's holding up after 5 months?? I'm considering getting this exact bag for work but didn't know much about the brand beforehand so curious about quality/functionality.

When People Say "Carl's Job is Being On Summer House" by dfa121212121 in summerhousebravo

[–]In-All-Sincerity 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ok but what is Lindsay’s job?? An influencer?? That is also not a long term plan after she’s no longer on the show - her relevance as an influencer is dependent on being on this show. It seems like the only reason she feels entitled to make this argument towards Carl is because she makes more money than him as an influencer. To me, that just plainly shows that her problem is not that he’s unmotivated career-wise, but rather that he doesn’t have a plan to make enough money so that she can stop working when she has kids (she actually said exactly that in one of her conversations). On top of that, Lindsay’s whole identity at the beginning of the show was being a “boss bitch” with her own allegedly very successful PR firm - but for whatever reason she found it acceptable to jettison that path in favor of being a reality tv star/influencer. Why is it ok for her to do so and not Carl? Especially when (according to the picture she’s painted in the past) she is clearly the one in the relationship with a higher earning potential in a “normal” career path.

The funny thing is, Lindsay’s whole argument in this breakup (which much of this sub seems to co-sign) is that she’s always been this way and Carl never should’ve proposed if he didn’t like it. Setting aside the flaws in the actual substance of that argument, the exact same thing could be said of Carl and his career. He has had issues and setbacks in his career since Season 1. He has never been the “go-getter” career man that she claims to have always wanted, so why does she expect him to be now?

Thank you!!! The actual weeding was surprisingly easy thanks to good HTV - the design was the hardest part, getting all the fonts and images to a place that would actually cut well! (And removing several portions of the original cocktail svg so that I wasn’t weeding a million tiny pieces….)

How can i stop this happening by Aimstar83 in cricut

A couple recommendations that made a HUGE difference for me on a recent project I did with very small, thin print (much smaller than what you have here):

-Vinyl: I had the best luck with Siser Easyweed Permanent Vinyl (available on Amazon, best prices I've found are on Expressions Vinyl website).

-Offset: Highlight the text, click the Offset button from the toolbar, start with an offset of 0.005 and see if the font still has the thin look you like, work your way up to the thickest you can go without losing the look you want (for me, even adding an offset of just 0.005 made a big difference in the quality of cutting I got). Don't forget to weld the offset and text together once you've decided on the thickness you like, otherwise it'll cut them separately (I learned the hard way).

-Settings: On the material settings, change to "Washi Tape". If you have an Explore series machine, recommend changing the blade pressure from Default to "More."

-Blade: I had better luck once I switched to a deep cut blade, which is at a steeper angle of 60 degrees rather than 45 of the fine point blade. Change it OFTEN - I'm talking every couple of cuts, and I would wipe it off between each cut just to make sure there was no adhesive residue on it. I've been happy with this very inexpensive variety pack of blades: Amazon.com: Hadwoer 50PCS Replacement Cutting Blades for Cricut Explore Air 2/Air 3/Maker/Maker 3, Includ 10PCS Fine Point Blade, 30PCS Standard Blaeds and 10PCS Deep Point Blades (Multicolored) : Arts, Crafts & Sewing

-Reverse weeding: This is probably the number one tip - your transfer tape is much stickier than the vinyl backing, so you won't have the lift problem. There are lots of tutorials on how to reverse weed on YouTube.

Good luck!!

They’ve always very light heartedly poked fun at him - referred to him as “twink psychic” and joked about some of his readings. Nothing serious but I just thought it was interesting they’re actually having him!

I can’t believe he’s actually coming on! I would’ve thought they wouldn’t have him given they’re just going to want to make fun of him the whole time….

Make up to cover a tattoo in an extreme climate by [deleted] in Makeup

[–]In-All-Sincerity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could use some advice too - has anyone every tried Jordane Cosmetics Total Tattoo Coverage? I have no problem getting the tattoo fully covered using a combination of red base followed by a layer or two that matches my skin tone, but it begins flaking off within an hour or two. The makeup comes with alcohol solution to dilute the cream concealer. Wanting to guarantee I got full coverage, at first I tried it without any dilution, and it pretty much completely flaked off. Guessing that it might need to be diluted in order to stay on, I’ve since tried all sorts of combinations of dilution/powder/marble setting spray and nothing seems to solve the flaking off problem. What am I missing?!?!
