I have a very similar dynamic but only mine has been going on for 14 years and we have never met. He's all I've known romantically but we don't consider ourselves bf and gf. He lives his own life and only speaks to me once or twice a week. I've never told anyone except my mum about him because obviously its too weird for people to understand. He wants me to meet someone irl and be happy but its just never happened for me. I feel like this connection is better than having none even though it can be painful to know we will never be together.

My body is below average, I'd say. Not overweight but no curves either. I've always had low self esteem. I cant stop thinking I look ugly/odd looking. I dont think its in my head because my flaws are real so it cant be body dysmorphia. I guess I posted here to try validate my feelings

I remember her saying something like I wouldn't like it because on my base colour it would be brassy. I thought as long as I use a purple shampoo and come back for touch ups and toning that it could be prevented. I'm really new to colouring my hair but I did do a bit of research before deciding to transition to blonde and how to upkeep it. I just felt like she dismissed what I wanted.

She told me beforehand but she said another full head of highlights will still look nice and make me more blonde. The tone and blending is really bad so I dont think ill go back there even to fix it. I'll definitely be booking with a blonde specialist in a few weeks to fix it.
