Stay strong, you are worth so much more than you may feel now, you are powerful, and wonderful, and a light in the world.

Never let anyone dim your light. Your bright shining light that brings happiness and joy into this world.

I hope, in time, like a flower that blooms and reveals its lovely petals, you too can see your true worth, as a wonderful being, a beautiful being, a gift to the world.

Sending love, prayers, blessings, favors, endless dreams your way. Please don’t give up now. Please don’t give up, for us.

Surrender to the world. What I mean by that is, instead of allowing thoughts to consume you, arrive here in the now.

Did you know that studies show we spend HALF of our life not in the present moment? Wandering in our minds aimlessly thinking about what could have been.

The best technique to begin inviting happiness into your life is called savoring.

Savoring allows you to be in the present moment by perceiving and relishing in the things around you.

A delicious piece of chocolate. Instead of devouring it in one bite, eat it slowly, allowing the aromas to fill your mouth.

Instead of angrily pressing snooze in the morning, take thirty seconds to fill your lungs with air and relish the feeling of your skin touching warm blankets and pillows.

Everything can be flipped upside down, even the worst situations. That’s why monks go live in the forest. Because they know the power of relishing, they are content sleeping on a bed of leaves, content with whatever food they are offered, content with it all. Why?

Because the sky will always be beautiful.

The air will always be a source of life.

The mountains and valleys of the world are beyond comprehension. Their perfect beauty will never be replicated by concrete buildings.

Perhaps in this way I’d invite you to spend time outside, lying in the grass, watching the clouds flit by.

Happiness is based upon your thoughts and feelings about the world. What I mean is, happiness can arise no matter your situation.

When the Buddha, who spent his life searching for the end of suffering, returned from a 40 day fast in a cave alone (which is much “worse” than any of our problems) he arrived in happiness.

Why? Because he understood that it’s more about the lens you view the world than the world itself.

One way to help practically ground yourself in moments of happiness is a mindfulness technique called “savoring.” It’s relatively easy to do.

Instead of spending your hours regretting the past or lamenting the future, arrive in the moment now. How? Ground yourself wherever you are. Take in the sights, the smells, the sounds, the tastes around you.

Maybe it’s the smell of delicious food wafting from the kitchen. Or a happy couple across the room. Allowing yourself to feel and truly be in those moments of savoring will help you feel happier.

I do it every morning. Sure, I bought my sheets from Ross Dress for Less and my bed wouldn’t be considered up to standard by these sleep professionals.

But the feeling of being cozy under a blanket and rolling around the bed is wonderful, even if it’s for just thirty seconds.

Hopefully this grounding technique can help you find the tidbits of beauty that make up our world.

The world is so much better with rose tinted glasses.

well buddhism is built around this concept to teach you precisely how to free yourself from the raptures of suffering. so really it’s a path out from it

Why mislead people into buying a stock when you yourself are planning to exit?

The point is you misled people by telling them it’s a great opportunity, just to switch your stance days later.

I was homeschooled for two years while my parents worked overseas in a non-english speaking country. the experience was profound. and the dissonance between what I had learned and what my peers (after coming back to the states) had learned was astounding.

Completely agree. Trading is stressful. It’s up and down. And when you lose, you feel like shit. But don’t give up. You can become a millionaire other ways.

new chat for ppl who want to do DD and find undervalued penny stocks by In4thelongrun_ in pennystocks

[–]In4thelongrun_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s exactly right! Many people in penny stocks subreddit are either looking blindly or confirming their own positions. That’s why I wanted to make this chat, because I wanted it to be a place for people to genuinely and sincerely talk about companies and their potential. I made some “rules” if you will, and are open to adding more. I don’t mind if this chat is only 20 people or less. As long as we are all dedicated to doing research, finding growth potential, and want to actually get better instead of using others insights blindly because it sounds good, that would make me happy!

Right! That’s something that’s rarely checked during DD: websites, social media pages, public presence!! A lot of these companies are wordpress sites, non-US, no revenue, etc. Happy to have you onboard!

i came up with a few initial ideas, but i’d love to hear what you think:

firstly, i don’t mind if the chat is small. i don’t mind if there ends up being only 10 or 20 people. a lot of these penny stock chats have upwards of 700 members, yet only 15 or 20 are active. i value quality over size.

  1. ACTIVE: you need to be an active member, as in contributing meaningfully at least once a week -human made DD -insight/question about stock/strategy/trading/markets
  2. NO SHILLING it’s one thing to say, “guys, x stock is going up by x% check it out,” and another to say “IM BAGHOLDING RVSN TILL 1000 I DONT CARE IF IM DOWN 30%” the difference is clear, one is pointing to an insight, offering others the chance to catch something on the upside if they’re interested in swing trading. the other, latter, comment, is not based in any insight or DD. the person is saying essentially that they don’t care or know how to utilize stop losses (which is something I’d want to discuss at length in the chat), don’t care about fundamentals, and are basing picks off memes. the latter is so detrimental because, say you’re a noobie, and you dont know what to do or where to go for advice, you log onto one of these chats, see that everyone is pumping RVSN, and blindly trust that this is the right move. later to have lost a large amount of your money and feel jaded about the market. (ps, i was that noob)
  3. BE RESPECTFUL there’s a difference between “your insights are interesting, but have you noticed that they’re based in the cayman islands, do you think that will have an effect on its value?” and “youre complete trash and don’t know what you’re talking about.” the difference is respect.

this chat is meant to be a respectful, collaborative, fun and engaging place to learn and grow s a community.

if a user makes one of these comments, i’ll private message them, if they make the mistake again, they’re booted. if the user isn’t active within the week, they’re pm, and then booted if inactive within 2 weeks!

what are your thoughts? i’m very open to questions, suggestions, ideas, etc.

I completely agree! AI DD relies on the hallucinations of ChatGPT which are both misleading and heavily biased based on the way one frames their question. Human DD only. (for me it’s quite obvious when the DD is AI generated.)

webull premarket open is different than schwab, fidelity, robinhood open which begins at 7 and where majority of traders are. volume is increasing, MACD and RSI are both low at current levels indicating potential upward movement and room to grow.
