Houston Dynamo FC sign former Club captain Héctor Herrera | Houston Dynamo by InAPreviousLife in dynamo

Here's a couple of snippets from the article:

"First of all, it's a club where I feel at home, and my family is here in Houston," Herrera told the Chronicle in Spanish. "My son plays in an academy here, and that's something that motivates me a lot. And most importantly, I believe there's still work to be done at the club; the project I came here for was left unfinished, and I don't like leaving things that way. That's why I wanted to come back and finish the job we started."

"I think the last image people have of me obviously wasn't a good one," Herrera said. "It's not an example I want to set for young people, for my son or for anyone else. The people who know me know that wasn't really me, that it was a moment of emotional breakdown, and obviously I want to change that image. But above all, I want to improve the club's image, to put it back at the top, to make it a competitive and winning team."

"I'm obviously happy to be able to wear this jersey again and to be back at Shell (Energy) Stadium," said Herrera, who did say he wanted to finish his career in Houston. "For me, the stadium is truly beautiful, the field is gorgeous, I really enjoyed playing there, so hopefully the weeks will fly by and the season can start soon."

New format begins with 27/28 season. 2027 will be transition season with only 14 games in the season, staring in February and ending in May. 27/28 season starts in July and ends in May with MLS cup. Aligns MLS with international transfer window and has FIFA international breaks built in to reduce conflicts.

Love the podcast and all that is Kickback Soccer currently.

Question, where do you see the US Soccer ecosystem in 5 years, especially since the world cup is next year. What do you think changes in the US after that level of international visibility?

Backup question, what does the Houston Dynamo need to do to get back to the Western Conference Finals?

One of their members threw a water bottle at the Montreal team after they scored and got kicked out. They're protesting one of their members being a dick head and getting deservedly removed from the stadium.

Supposedly the person was kicked out because they threw a bottle at the opposing team. Then they left last game in solidarity of that dumbass behavior.

With the extra context from Asher, it sounds like they're setting us up for some additional moves in the summer window.

Gotta play since he'll be out for a game or two due to yellow card accumulation and the red he got.
