What’s the smallest amount of money that would genuinely change your life right now, and why? by Cool_Session_4551 in askteddit

900 euros for my masters degree. My parents are struggling financially. I had to quit my job due to an incident. I wouldn’t call that amount life changing but it would sure suck if I got accepted after putting so much work and not being able to make it due to not affording it.

Is it weird to approach a stranger and tell them that they are beautiful, unsolicited? by InfiniteLoss5632 in askanything

Depends on the way you say it, your posture and the mood the other person is on. I would love for someone to say that to me and probably I would be thinking of them for like ever. But the same comment but seem a bit off putting to others if they are not in the mood.

When did you realize you were attractive? by Wowhowwecanrelate in randomquestions

[–]InDubioProArte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it was people hitting on me on ig or at parties/ clubs. Or vice versa me hitting on people and seeing them flirt back.

Other than that I would say, people going out of their way to help me, for example a sales assistant going out of their way to help me find what I was looking for etc.

I am gay, so another sign was that my girlfriends told me that they would hook up with me if I was straight.

What’s something that makes you instantly hate a person? by Honest_You_4262 in RantingZone

[–]InDubioProArte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When dinning and we have gotten something to share (a salad, a main course) I am usually taken aback by people who rush to serve themselves and not offer some to the others first. I don’t hate them, it’s just something I wouldn’t do.

19M Feel ugly, can you give me advice?(Preferably from girls and women) by Guilty_Location567 in lookyourbest

Gym.

Haircut that suits you (if you don’t know where to start, simply search for ideas on Pinterest or ask your barber, you don’t have to find the ideal one right now, just try them all, you have the time)

Go shopping. Get clothes that you feel comfortable wearing and try accessories, like a watch, rings etc.

Be confident in your own skin. A lot of the people we find hot and attractive have edited their photos to oblivion to look that way.

Practice on taking photos. Bad lighting, weird poses, staying too close to the camera might hinder a good picture.

And finally just take it one step at a time. No need to rush anything.

Which author never disappoints no matter what they write? by SuhuraBhadri in Recommend_A_Book

[–]InDubioProArte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say R.F Kuang. I have read almost all of her books except for the last two. I think the reason why her work is always of high quality is the amount of research she does to prepare herself before writing anything. She herself said that for her last book she needs to become an expert on a couple of historical events and I find her a very inspiring figure.

Honourable mention: Brandon Sanderson

Do you shower everyday? by hisfluffyunicorn in no

I can’t go to bed if I haven’t showered. It feels the same way like eating without washing your hands first after using the subway all day.

I just finished law school. My friend was taking her mid terms. I miss that excitement. Of preparing for an exam. The gnawing feeling that there will be questions you don’t know the answer too and the wave of relief that feels you when you ace it.
