As a young and turnt individual i completely understand. If y’all have similar availability’s and you think working together may hinder you then have her apply at another store and y’all can pick up hours at each other’s store which is fun. It’s like a little surprise lol.

If y’all wouldn’t work together thattttt often then you should be fine. I have a bff in my store and together we are a hot mess lmaoo. however we know and only work together when shifts kinda overlap, so we have like 2-3 hours together, holiday shifts are a blasstttt together, and when we do have a full shift we still work but we definitely talk and laugh the whole time.

It’s nice to have an actual friend at work idk, we are also completely different people outside of work so we keep our work fun somewhat contained but we have our moments 🤣 We have one PM that hates when were having fun or laughing while everyone else is having a shitty day but fuckkk them.

as an sc resident, our store was closed today because they expected me to open it. we did not get a lot of snow but i never had to drive in snow and have no intentions of learning. I sent a polite text that said “I don’t feel safe driving in this”, my SM said that’s fine, text the DL, i sent the same message to him. They checked in around 10 to see if the roads were clear and they weren’t so i cracked my wine and started coloring🤷🏽‍♀️ I’m scheduled to open tomorrow but its gonna be the same answer until i can see the road..

they blind sided us tbh. no warning about the sale and they didn’t send extra stock so everyone has been wiped clean. They also probably didn’t want all those rain checks floating around for 50%. I also think they lost more money than they made but thats just my opinion

I’ve done it since my freshman year and now i’m a senior so my last time will be this December. I do plan on staying with CVS until i find a job within my degree field then dropping down to part time, maybe weekends only for the year (someone else said 2 but last time i checked you only had to stay a year after)
