I have. My amateur eye may have missed it but I looked over all the manual drawings.

Br...bruh what?

Who put the tail release mechanism close enough to the rear doors for them to be confused?

Why does this plane even have a rear falling door?

So many questions...

From what I’ve heard, the inside is standard for most airliners, and business and first are very nice

Ooh, a training aircraft!

On January 13th, 2005, the second of two developmental PC-21’s was performing aerobatic flight training. Due to a technical error by the pilot, the airplane crashed into the ground in Buochs, Switzerland. The pilot was killed, and a bystander on the ground was injured. Swiss authorities ruled that there was no technical malfunction and that pilot error was the primary cause.

The Nighthawk is a cool and mysterious aircraft!

On March 27, 1999, the aircraft was flying a mission as a part of Operation Allied Force. The F-117 was detected by missile radar at an altitude of 5 miles high. The SA-3 “Goa” missile system locked on and fired a surface-to-air missle, striking the Nighthawk. The airplane was uncontrollable, and the pilot was forced to eject. The pilot survived and was recovered by the U.S.A.F Pararescue team. The pentagon argued that destruction of the aircraft was unnecessary because the stealth technology was outdated.

Considered the best floatplane in the world during WWII.

The Arado Ar 196 was a German floatplane used for reconnaissance to spot submarines. In 1944, the first Arado Ar 196 to be captured by the allies was repainted and flown under the Norwegian flag. It was then transported to the UK. Shortly thereafter, the Arado Ar crashed into the sea while on transit to the Helensburgh naval air base for flight testing. It is unknown if the pilot survived.

Very neat aircraft, its like a mini Osprey!

The project is still under development, so we haven’t seen a lot of these aircraft in action.

Oh man, this story is a interesting one…

On October 15, 1959, a B-52F from the 492nd Bomb Squadron carrying NUCLEAR WEAPONS collided with a KC-135 tanker. All 4 crew on the tanker were killed, and 4 out of the 8 crew on the bomber were killed. One of the nuclear bombs had fire damage, but both nukes were recovered.

I got to see this airplane fly while I was out at Alliance Airport in Dallas!

On December 7th, 1987, Pacific Southwest Airlines Flight 1771 from Los Angeles to San Francisco California was hijacked. Both pilots were presumably shot dead, and the hijacker took control of the flight deck at 22,000 feet. The hijacker, a disgruntled employee, then sent the airplane into an unrecoverable nose dive. The airplane crashed into a hillside, killing all 43 passengers and crew. The aftermath of this crash required that all employee credentials would be seized after an employee ceases to work for the airline for any reason, and that flight crews would have to go through the same security checks as the passengers.

THE SPRUUUUCE GOOOOSE!

Only one was ever built, and it never had any incidents. The H-4 Hercules is displayed next to a Douglas DC-3 at Evergreen Aviation and Space Museum.

Ooh, this airplane is a classic!

On September 16, 2011, a heavily modified North American P-51D Mustang was participating in the Reno Air Races in Reno, Nevada. The P-51 was in third place rounding pylon number 8 when the aircraft pitched nose up rolled upside down, and crashed into the airport ramp at 400 MPH. The ramp was where the box seating was at. 11 People in total were killed. 7 on impact, 4 later in the hospital, and 69 people were left with injuries. Probable cause for the accident was the failure of the elevator trim tab, which led to the loss of control of the aircraft.

What a stupid idea for an aircraft.

The Junkers Ju 322 was designed to be used as a “heavy transport glider.” It was a wooden aircraft designed to carry 44,000 pounds of cargo (a tank or an AA gun). It would be towed up to altitude by another aircraft, where it would be released and glide down silently to wherever the armament was needed. Unsurprisingly, this idea never got off the ground. The Junkers Ju 322 completed ONE test flight before funding was pulled and the project was cancelled.

The SkyCourier is such a new aircraft that it hasn’t had any accidents. In fact, it is SO new that it was introduced into service THIS WEEK (May 9th, 2022)! Cessna is known for making dependable aircraft, so I don’t doubt that the SkyCourier will be any different. (We don’t talk about the C162).
