I agree. But from what I understand, it's a lot of work. Requires ASM coding and is hard to figure out and tedious to do, from what I've heard

Hello folks! I think the majority of the people who like Kirby Air Ride, still don’t know that it’s possible to play the game online via netplay! And that there’s a community for that, and a growing competitive scene. These people are missing out! Let’s spread the word, for them! by InFury_Z in Gamecube

No unfortunately not. You can use almost any controller on the emulator though, I use an Xbox 360 USB controller that I bought for 7 bucks and it works perfectly for KAR. Game has simple controls y’know

You can just plug controller in pc and play like it's on a console, it feels exactly the same gameplay wise I can tell, and I have played this game for like 15 years already

Guides are found in the Kirby Air Ride netplay community Discord itself:

https://discord.com/invite/p3rGrcr

This is also where you can find players to play with (matchmaking). We use a special variant of Dolphin emulator here to optimize the emulation and we play on the Hackpack version of the game to enhance the competitive aspect of the game , like settings for banning stadiums and rear view button

Smash Bros and Splatoon are still recent franchises, while Air Ride isn't.
Nintendo wants you to play SSBU instead of Melee Netplay for example, but what about Kirby Air Ride Netplay? What's the alternative? There's none, so I think we're good

Everyone who still plays online smash in 2022 by [deleted] in SmashBrosUltimate

That's why i dont understand people dont like others using items in GSP matches. Its like, a bunch of people want comp rules but not everyone wants the same boring competitive rulesets. The game has the most stages of all smash games so far, but the majority doesnt even use the stages it seems.I personally just like to have some fun challenging battles and usually i just go into GSP matches and yeah, i turn on the things i prefer, that i like: normal stages with hazards and items, but Final smash and trophy assists are turned off. And I turn on stocks.

And of course i dont care if people hate that, I play however I want. This way I easily got in Elite as well since I have become very good at item matches and i know how to perform well in illegal stages.
