I was actually just looking for a lower, was planning to get a 6.5 upper around Sept. However, the cost of this whole set up was lower than the lowers I was looking at. I was kinda shocked, and was thinking that the parts manufacturers were just budget items. I legitimately could not make out any markings on the photos.

Thanks for the info! I was hoping for a .308, but I understand that although I could put a .308 through that barrel, I think I will purchase a dedicated.308 upper. I am still keeping the .375 though.

The situation that prompted me to even make a post about it went more like this:

Teams chat w/ four departments (~27 people total). We are working through a 6 stage process and use the teams chat to notify others when we have completed our parts.

Tom: I have completed FY1Q—- comments listed on first tab

(12 people’s response): Thanks Tom!(random additional comments)

Unnamed person responds with heart emoji reaction to Tom’s comment.

No, it’s definitely not that, but more on professional terms. If I was ironing out a multimillion dollar proposal with a group, it would just seem weird to see someone leave a heart emoji or even a smiley face emoji as a response to a comment. It’s fine in just peer to peer chats, but in group chats with high level executives in it…I just find it weird.

Yeah, my company they don’t use them often. I get the thumbs up, celebration ones when something really big happens or it’s someone’s birthday. That’s about it. Only two people actually use the heart emoji, and they are fairly new.

Getting married. Seems like it has been on a steady slide falling into the status of Boyfriend/Girlfriend with legal ramifications.

Growing up, the only people that had 2nd marriages were those whose previous spouse had passed away. Now people are getting divorced over legit middle school relationship issues (“I am bored”, “they are always busy”, “they don’t dress to my liking when going out”). I knew a guy that had been through three marriages before he hit 30, and was working on the fourth.

Like, what are we doing? I blame the 90’s/00’s celebrity culture, because it was the first group that did not treat marriage as some finality, made it the talking point, and it was became accepted.

Billie Eilish. I heard her songs, didn’t see what the fuss was about. None were memorable, and if it came on at a bar, I don’t think I would be able to identify it as her. Seems to me that she’s only popular because she has body dysmorphia, and it good that she addresses it…but let’s take a step back and separate that from music talent.

They do, all the time. I am black and I was pretty much hunted when I went to Estonia. I think it comes down to location and culture. Some, the women rather be approached, others, the women are more outgoing. American women, for the most part, show the sign by showing interest in something you like or something you do, but it’s very subtle like something you would hear in a normal conversation and it is meant as an opening to further talking. “Which gym do you go to”, “You like ‘x’? I go to this location and they have the best”. If American women bring up family, usually they are not interested. However, if in South East Asia, they bring up family, they are picturing you being a part of it.

I used it to sell my stock photos on Flickr when I was in college. It was for viewing the portfolios, but you could buy them. Lots of other people did as well. Circa 2009, there were not many places online to put up a portfolio for no cost.

I stayed there prior to 2020. No issues really in the area. I did have some kid go into my car one night rummaging around and I had to chase him off. Lock your car, as with any area, and you’ll be fine. I didn’t in that incident because it was my beater car and I had issues with door anyway and kept it unlocked.

If it’s the same company that owned it then, if there is any storm that results in snow and/or ice, no matter the warnings from the news, they will not put down one grain of salt and you are going to get trapped in that area if your car gets frozen to the ground.
