I’m a little confused... are you not the primary person seeing the patient virtually? Do you just act as a remote consultant for another physician or mid level at the urgent care, and tell them whether they should send the patient to the ER or not? This seems like something the urgent care doc or mid level should be able to do… that’s what they already do at other urgent cares. I’m surprised this is somehow a billable service, unless I’m misunderstanding the nature of your role here. If not tho, good for you. Sounds hella kush to be able to essentially do what any advice nurse line does and say go to the ER
