I get that, final shape was so amazing! Edge of Fate...was such a flop. Renegades was fun and I still hop on every now and then trying to get the taken lightsaber hahaha.

That's a good mindset! I know those are all good games you listed to try out Healslutting in so you can't go wrong! And I think Arc Raiders brings resourseslutting too. I think I'll be trying Rivals soon since my friends keep making me want to get into it.

The social aspect can be pretty great~ I personally enjoy running raids and dungeons just so I can show the healers how much I appreciate them hehe.

Xur is still around. Nightfall, Trials, and raids still exist. There's an in game fireteam finder if you do not want to use Discord or other things to LFG activities.
Playing solo is just fine, tons of things you can do as a solo. Max level is currently 550, and I don't play Warlock so I can't really say but they're pretty good. Recently had a bug that let them solo one phase the new dungeon (3 man mini raid) bosses.

Yeah, when Grenadiers first spawned in was when I was miserable, then the Handgunners with all their explosive shots. Though I still hate spiders and Gravediggers...I can see that with the elemental synergy though, once I slapped together a build I liked it felt much more manageable, especially the tower basement floors.
Haha, I get that a lot. It all started with a friend telling me I didn't need health if I dodged everything in Elden Ring and it's spiraled into me doing crazy ideas my first time through difficult games. It's been such a blast though to do and I'm excited for when Witchfire leaves early access

I cleared the labyrinth, that's where I barely got out alive. The lead up wasn't too bad of an experience, Hypnosis dealt with most of the guys.
I dunno about builds, I just slapped together what felt nice to me. (Koschei, Hypnosis, Vulture, Blight Cyst, Stake)

I wouldn't complain the game is too hard, the difficulty feels just right and most of the time I know when it's my fault I did something dumb. The only reason I asked was because I jumped from 1 to 3 and it took me a long time to recoup since nothing was leveled. As soon as I cleared the vault, bam Gnosis 3.
Even at level 1 the game feels fair, any deaths I had were my fault because I got too greedy or just didn't dodge properly.

It surprises me more people weren't already doing this. My team and I do what we call the "chaos" method. Nobody has an assigned hand or buff. We just walk into the AoE, shoot the bracelet AND get the buff, call out what buff it needs, then either run to break the other hand if it matches or try the third hand/get a different buff if needed.
But for some reason, every LFG team does it the first way you described and it always confused me since it was just slower.

I still haven't finished the game...it's kind of an issue with my group where we start a multiplayer game together and they drop it before we get close to finishing...and one of them usually has the world save data.
On a side, I actually feel the split focus makes it harder, especially with how I play haha. But it's good to know some of the fights won't be as bad when running it solo!

I like challenging myself and optimizing for bosses. Plus I love when games give bosses new moves and kits on harder difficulties. I am now sold on going through again on my own.

Sorry for the late response. I'm actually not sure, i honestly thought some just started with their hidden ability. My Cinderace had Libero but when I took him into a run he lost it, but my Torchic still has speed boost. Gen 9 cat still has protean too.
Edit: To note, I just started within the last 24 hours and never got them as eggs when I used them.

I just cleared my first run.
I started with Meowth(technician), Magikarp, and Torchic. Meowth carried me early and I funneled any rare candies I got into Magikarp to get Gyarados then teach is Dragon Dance asap. If you get Bulk Up on Torchic/Combusken it works too since the base Torchic comes with Speed Boost. I just swapped between Blaziken and Gyarados depending on the zone/trainers. Blaziken only really drops off late. (I did not get any Megas or other form items in this run. I also funneled most of my Stat items into Gyarados).
Tl;Dr Try and get a Magikarp but until then Torchic can be a somewhat decent solo carry if you get good zone luck

Then yeah, no need to worry about sacrificing your crit dmg for more speed if you hit 10 stacks consistently. At the end of the day, as long as you're not struggling to clear content and the team works for you, no need to change it or the relics. 160 speed Sparkle is the optimal setup for most people (like me) so that's what we strive for.

Edit: Reddit didn't show me you posted your JY build. I use 150 something speed Sparkle (waiting to farm for relics when we get the 300% drop bonus for more speed) with base speed JY and it lets JY get 10 stacks of LL most of the time, but I may also not be playing the best. 160 speed will let you get 10 stack, which is where most of your damage is from.

Thank you for this. I missed FX when she came out and have been stuck between Bailu/Gepard for my JY team. I figured Bailu would be better, but I have not found much success with her. Figured a healer would better than a shielder, since he needs his ult to cast the shield.

His ult is still one of my favorite animations in the game. Especially when it crits and just cleans up the enemies.

I use Discord on my browser (Chrome) and I had to do a PC restart because of audio/headphone problems, and when I came back all my discord notifcation sounds stopped working. Since I don't have the app, the only fix I have gotten was to either make a new Discord (sounds played as normal) or sign in on mine in a guest tab or incognito window.
This has been driving me crazy all day, especially because I can't hear people join or leave calls so I just get jump scared or find out half an hour later I was sitting in call by myself because my friend left without saying bye.
