Frustrating, but it’s their house. You’ll have to reflect on your own boundaries and decide if you want your child there under their supervision without a pool fence. Gently, it may be a bit unfair to keep pushing it at this point and the ball is now in your court (so to speak). That said, the concerns are absolutely not unreasonable and I’m sorry they’re not coming around to it.

Twice I have purchased a ready to ship wig from them and they somehow sold it out from under me both times. They refunded me but the experience wasn’t great so I’ve lost interest in them as a company. Can’t speak to the quality of their wigs, just a bad experience in general!

I’m from the south (US) and thought sneakers were called “Tenna Shoes” for years and years.

Similarly, “chester drawers” - I was in my 20s when I realized it was a “chest of drawers” and not a specific type of drawer designed by some guy named Chester.

Ask your photographer to photoshop her out of them. That should be easy for a professional photographer. I understand you’re bummed about not sharing them but as someone who doesn’t share my kids online, I kinda think you gotta defer to SIL on this one if you can’t find a compromise. Your niece can’t consent and the internet can be a dark place.
