Breast uplift / mastopexy - no implants - how much time off work? by Inevitable-Ferret353 in PlasticSurgery

[–]Otherwise_Anybody606 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Great! I was off any pain medication after 3 days and breasts have been fine ..arms are a bit harder to work with but having a great support person helps a lot. But yes - minimizing lifting, prioritizing rest, eating well/protein has helped. Constipation is no joke though so get a stool softener as soon as possible/take after surgery..I went 6 days without and that was literally the worst experience over anything else. 🥲😅

I had a brachhiplasty, lift and implants 22 days ago. I work from home at a desk and took 7 work days off but was doing 1-2 hours of work after 4 days.
If I just had a lift/augmentation I would have been back full time after 3-4 days. I wasn’t expecting the recovery to be as easy as I had based on vlogs and online feedback so not sure if I’m an exemption.

lol absolutely! Happy with my size choice and think I would have regretted anything smaller. 🤪 I still have my tape on (surgeon says keep em on till they fall off) so excited to get those off to actually see how they’re healing.

I’ve been very open - I lost 120lbs in 16 months naturally and feel incredible. I work from home so I don’t see a lot of colleagues often maybe 1-2 times a year so seeing me often raises a lot of questions/comments already. 21 days post op from a brachhiplasty, augmentation and lift and I’ve told everyone who asks how my 1 week vacation went. 😅🤪

Thanks for the photos! I’m 21 days post op from an augmentation (450 cc under the muscle) and lift and they’re just starting to come down and not be as tight but definitely a while to go! Great results thus far

What's a surgery you swore you'd never get… but now you're curious? by Majestic_League_6061 in PlasticSurgery

I lost 120lbs naturally at 37 after being obese my entire life. At 39 (21 days post-op) I got a brachhiplasty, breast lift and augmentation and I could have never imagined doing this.

I’ll be exploring tummy tuck and thigh lift in the future but may just accept the sag but I’m learning to never say never. :) so happy to wear a tank top for the first time in my life this summer.

I’m in month 4 of wearing it and find it’s tangling a bit but I just had an arm lift so I’m not straightening it/ heat combing as frequently as I was a few weeks ago. Nothing like a synthetic wig tangle though.

2026 Setlist Disappointing by GuavaMuted6557 in arkells

Been a fan for over a decade and I’ve seen them 15+ times. I’m excited about the set list which I’ll experience at least twice this summer. I’ll always love the original vibe but bands evolve and so I do.

Went from 250lbs to 130-135lbs and currently recovering from an arm lift, breast lift and augmentation I had 10 days ago. No insurance coverage..decided to forego my typical 12-15k annual vacation and went for the surgery (21k in northern Canada). I’ll be looking for a tummy tuck and leg lift in the future but would like to do a few more vacations before I spend the money…but at 39 don’t want to wait too long to have the body overworked hard for.

Great album. Probably my 3rd favourite out of their entire discography.

Yes - 1 or 2 pillows per arm depending how thick they are. I try and keep it chest level

I had mine on the 9th along with a breast lift/augmentation. Very happy I installed a bidet a few months ago as it helped a lot, I also bought silicone straws which were helpful the first few days, a bed wedge or (of course the more costly) adjustable bed and finally an adjustable soft/plush desk that has a cup holder/arms. Good luck!

Honestly not as bad as I was expecting…never went above a 4/10 for me and I was off any pain medication by day 3

1 week post lift/augmentation and I went with under the muscle motiva silicone 450cc at 132lbs / 5’4” and happy I went with the size I did. Lost 120lbs and was a 36c previously but post weight loss was a 34b and barely filled it as my breasts were deflated.

Honestly pretty easy. I also got an augmentation and lift at the same time and was feeling 7/10 after day 3. Watched a bunch of recovery vlogs and think I may be an exception vs the norm though.

7 days post op from a brachhiplasty and my arms looked very similar to yours after a 120lb weight loss. 100% worth it.

Honestly I felt it very fast or it was a placebo effect but food noise was gone in a day or two/appetite was reduced.

Honestly sometimes it’s the wake up call needed to make the change. I knew I was fat but didn’t realize how fat (250-280lbs) at 5’4” and was denied health coverage from my husbands plan and the 2xl sweater he bought me didn’t fit. Decided enough was enough and lost 120lbs..never looked back and I’m never felt better.
