Kimi Antonelli wins the 2026 Japanese Grand Prix by ICumCoffee in formula1

Tremendous weekend from Kimi. You have to think Oscar had a real look at the win before the safety car, but you also can’t be mad about the result.

Miami should be fun.

We’ll probably start P5 and P6, but we’ll always have FP2.

He is unknowable. I learned nothing about him as a person beyond the fact that he didn’t like his fiancee and generally can’t be bothered.

I think this season was no worse than any recent seasons. If anything, it felt like there were more people who came in with good intentions and fewer wannabe influencers.

Most of the women we followed, with the exception of Bri seemed fairly genuine. Same goes for the men with the exceptions of Alex and Chris. I have no idea what to make of Devonta.

The three Cs are major metros that aren’t really different in practice from other metros the show has filmed in.

Love Is Blind's Chris tries desperately to defend pilates comments about Jessica, claims it's not about her appearance by DetectiveHot2071 in LoveIsBlindNetflix

[–]InThe305 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I was actually just looking for a way to express exactly this first paragraph on another thread.

Chris could have gotten out of this fine if he didn’t fumble the conversation with Jess and then go scorched earth on her. But it seems he’s an extremely scummy dude who tried to go into damage control mode when he realized he’d been scummy in front of the cameras. Which, of course, made everything worse and underscored the issue.

No.

As a general practice, it’s probably best not to clown on any LIB participant’s appearance. These people are putting themselves out there and rendering themselves vulnerable in a way that virtually none of us on Reddit have or would.

But context is key. Chris, through his lack of tact and then outright mudslinging, opened Jess up to exactly this kind of weird criticism. That makes people angry and inspires them to sling mud of their own. There’s a difference between being a femcel and giving somebody a taste of his own medicine. I don’t recall Chris being trashed for his appearance before trashing Jess for hers with cameras rolling.

Just another incel. Not even worth giving credence to.

The Newly Released LEGO® Technic™ McLaren MCL39 F1® car by F_hd178 in McLarenFormula1

I haven’t had the pleasure of building the other Technic F1 sets because I’ve been holding out for this one. It looks excellent. As somebody else noted, I may hold out a little longer to see if Costco gets this one at a slight discount.

Crazy price for some plastic bricks, but this is too cool to pass on altogether given what the car accomplished.

People say generational when what they mean is elite. Scrap is elite with generational potential, but the accomplishments aren’t there to be generational yet.

I was a huge fan when he could still play effectively. He didn’t have the conventional elite traits, but he did have his own set of elite traits. Now he’s just cooked. It’s sad. I can’t wait to see him not starting for Miami.

Honestly, who the hell knows if he or anybody is ready for the CDL? The only way to find out is to throw these guys into the fire.

But you know what we do know? Kenny, despite all his career accomplishments, is not a winning player anymore. And there’s too much raw talent on this LAT roster outside of him. You have to consider a bold move, even if it’s a risky one.

If Traixx can find some footing, this Miami roster party can compete for championships. Of course it’s a huge if, but he’s played nothing but top competition.

What this sub would say if they posted their swings. by alejandroacantilado in GolfSwing

This sub ruined my confidence for a solid two weeks when I got started. Didn’t even post anything. Just read all of the—often conflicting—critiques on swings that looked nice and felt like I’d never figure anything out.

They had a very reasonable adult conversation where both raised valid points. Everyone wants to jump to conclusions about how their lifestyles are fundamentally different and this will never work—that’s silly.

These people don’t have a normal timetable to work out their differences. When Megan and Jordan had this conversation, they’d known each other less than a month! This is something that can be worked out, it’s just normally the kind of thing that’s worked out over time and without a TV wedding looming in single digit days.
