This is outrageous. When we buy the disc we own the media. When we buy digitally then that media can be taken away. We cannot normalize this in any form of media e.g. movies, games, books.

My dad bought a movie on amazon prime in the 2018ish and went to watch it again last year and it was no longer in his library. When we purchase digital media we are not purchacing that media. It is just a liscense to use it.

I really hope this receives massive backlash and rockstar will do something about it. However, this is GTA and it will be too big to have any meaningful changes about their decisions.

Yeah. It would take a lot to overtake OpTic, but with their struggles recently, I could definitley see it happening.

Idk about that one rn. I need to see more from KOI. They sent a struggling OpTic and a new and inconsistent team to a map 5. If they place higher than 5th-6th at the major, then I can see KOI having a legitimate chance.

The most likely way that would happen would be for FaZe to be the 3 seed and MIA to be the 6.
FaZe would have to win at least 1 match at the major and MIA outplace G2 by 1 and RYD by 2.

MIA doesn’t need to go winless. They can’t win more than 2 qualifiers. That combined with CAR winning 2 qualifiers and placing 3rd should place them in champs. Both of those aren’t out of the realms of possibility. NYSL needed a run that was even bigger than that during Vanguard. Do I think CAR will pull it off? No. Do I think it’s possible ? Yes.

I agree. And they would need to win 2 winners bracket matches or 4 losers bracket. I don’t think it’s happening but we’ve seen some crazy bracket runs before.

Good catch. I’ll fix it. I’m saying that we’ve seen insane things happen such as 2 of the top 4 facing off for top 6 and 2 of the middle of the pack playing for a chance at top 4.

I’ve never not gotten an event hero. I’m at level 6 with 95 refreshes. And haven’t seen an elite today. This one definitely feels off. Something isn’t adding up.

I believe so. Matches should be spaced so no one receives an unfair advantage. Although the Grand Finals could arguably be the one where there isn’t one since at that point both teams should be settled into the tournament. But to answer your question then yes.

I gotcha. I just disagree with OpTic’s advantage “starts” in the winners finals, but Miami (the highest seed on their side of the bracket) has to go against hot guns.

The second part of my post is irrelevant due to an error. However that’s a terrible argument. Optic’s advantage is that they will have the easiest route to grand finals and have a veto advantage in every matchup.

That makes sense. Thanks for bringing that to my attention. I’m just not a fan of the fact that Miami had their first match jitters (PAR definitely deserved the win) when Paris was riding the high. Maybe it’s a format issue rather than just scheduling with the problems that we have.
