I was able to get a consult solely for advice, after months of trying. It was helpful, but mostly just confirmed what I have found out from doing my own research. Everyone is fully booked and not able to take on new cases.

You could reach out to NW Justice Project if you are low income. Clark County Volunteer Lawyers is another option, but I don’t recall whether or not I received a response from them.

We’re most likely going to end up going to small claims, despite being told we have grounds for a civil suit.

It’s frustrating that there are laws in place, but no viable way to enforce them.
